Dis Generation is the second video from A Tribe Called Quest's farewell album 'We Got It From Here... Thanks 4 For The Memories'. It sees the fusion of veteran New York hip-hop and youthful 80s Brummie reggae, sampling Musical Youth's Pass The Dutchie.
The band has previously released a video for 'We The People' since the album's release back in November.
The video is directed by Atlanta director Hiro Murai - who has also directed music videos for Bloc Party and Childish Gambino. The stylish black-and-white video features remaining Tribe members Q-Tip, Jarobi and Ali Shaheed Muhammad (along with honorary Tribe member, Busta Rhymes, whose stylings appear on the track itself). Late Tribe MC Phife Dawg's verses are also prominent in the new video.
The film is almost half an hour longer than 'The Force Awakens'.
