Filmmakers behind a planned biopic about the life of tragic AC DC frontman BON SCOTT have been given a big boost after receiving funding from the Australian government.
Director Eddie Martin and producer Lizzette Atkins have been piecing together magical moments from the rock icon's life with the help of the star's family and friends.
News of the film first hit headlines in 2008 and it has finally been given the green light to begin production after landing the grant from officials at Screen Australia, the film fund supported by the country's government, reports Blabbermouth.net.
Casting details for the biopic have yet to be finalised.
Scott died of acute alcohol poisoning in 1980, aged 33.
