AC DC rocker Phil Rudd's upcoming court appearance has been postponed until April (15) after his lawyer withdrew from the case.
The veteran rocker was arrested in November (14) and charged with attempting to have two unidentified men killed. The murder plot accusation was later dropped by authorities, but he still faces charges of drug possession and threatening to kill.
He was due to appear in Tauranga District Court in New Zealand next week (ends15Feb15), but the case has now been adjourned after Rudd's lawyer withdrew as his counsel.
Rudd, 60, who has entered a not guilty plea to all charges, was being represented by Paul Mabey, Qc who has now been replaced by Craig Tuck.
Mabey insists the split was amicable, saying, "It's just a professional decision that we have made."
