Adam Lambert wants to ''fall in love'' again.

The 'For Your Entertainment' hitmaker is keen on finding a ''deeper heart connection'' with someone but admits relationships can be a ''little tricky''.

He told Yahoo!: ''One of the things that makes me happy is love, everybody loves love and everybody wants to love back. Relationships are a little tricky but everybody wants to have their heart taken care of.

''I have been single for two years now, some parts of it are fun but I think I'm getting to a point now where I'm like, 'I could fall in love again', that would be nice. I want that deeper heart connection but I'm travelling a lot and it's very difficult ... So I'm dating my album, we are in a monogamous situation.''

Meanwhile, the 33-year-old singer previously insisted he would never date anyone who was in the closet again.

He said: ''Actors and entertainers can't be open about their sexuality and it's hard to live that life. It's difficult to date someone who's so worried about their reputation. I don't think I could date anyone in the closet again.

''I dated some actors but they weren't famous. In my single 'Ghost Town' I'm referring to how LA and the industry can really take its toll.''
