Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine and his Victoria’s Secret model wife Behati Prinsloo are expecting their first child together.

Multiple sources confirmed to Us Weekly that the photogenic couple, who have been married for nearly two years, are expecting their first baby in August, with Prinsloo apparently already three to four months along in her pregnancy.

‘The Voice’ judge Levine is reportedly “over the moon” about the news, and it explains his announcement earlier this week that he plans to take a break from the NBC show later this year.

The news doesn’t seem to have slowed down Prinsloo’s career for the time being, joining her fellow Victoria’s Secret models in a ‘Swim Special’ on Wednesday (March 9th).

The pair began dating in the summer of 2012, announcing their relationship later that year, and tying the knot in a lavish wedding ceremony in Mexico in July 2014.

A family seems to have been on the cards for both of them for some time. A month after the wedding, 36 year old Levine told Ryan Seacrest: “We’re definitely going to do it… I want to have 100 kids. I want to have more kids than would be socially responsible!”

Motherhood has been on Prinsloo’s mind for a long time as well. The Namibian-born Victoria’s Secret Angel told The Lowdown earlier in 2015: “I’ve always wanted a family since I was a little girl, a big family… I’m an only child so I wanted like 10 kids… for sure.”

Speaking about his wife, Levine said soon after their wedding: “She makes me the best person I can be,” she said at the Tribeca Film Festival back in 2014. “She's the best in the world.”
