Adam Levine has urged Blake Shelton to start dating again.

The Maroon 5 frontman is encouraging his fellow 'The Voice' USA mentor to get out and meet other women following his divorce from Miranda LamBert last month.

A source said: ''Adam says he still has numbers for all the models he used to hang out with before he married Behati Prinsloo.''

The 36-year-old heartthrob has also asked his wife to reach out to some of her friends so they can set Blake, 39, up on some dates, but the country music star is reluctant to find love again.

The insider told US OK! magazine: ''Adam keeps telling Blake that when you fall off your horse, the only thing you can do is get back on. But Blake's not interested.''

The former couple announced their split to fans just hours before news of the divorce being finalised was made public.

In the joint statement, they said: ''This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately.

''We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.''
