Netflix has moved into the world of original films and the fun starts this October! Yes the streaming service has just revealed the premiere dates for its first batch of original features, with Cary Fukunaga’s Beasts of No Nation leading the pack on October 16th.

Based on the novel by Nigerian author Uzodinma Iweala and adapted for the screen by Fukunaga, Beasts of No Nation stars Idris Elba as a warlord who mentors a child soldier. As well as becoming available worldwide on Netflix October 16th, the film will also open the same day in select U.S. theaters.

Next up is The Ridiculous Six, the first of Adam Sandler’s four original offerings made exclusively for the streaming service. The comedy will premiere on December 11th and stars Terry Crews, Taylor Lautner, Jorge Garcia, Luke Wilson, and Nick Nolte alongside Sandler.

Pee-wee’s Big Holiday, the third feature film outing for Paul Reuben’s bow-tie wearing character, has been announced as hitting Netflix exclusively in March 2016. Described as an “epic story of friendship and destiny” the film follows Pee-wee as he takes his first-ever vacation after a “fateful meeting with a mysterious stranger.”

Netflix has also announced that it has pushed back the release date of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Green Legend, the follow up to Ang Lee’s 2000 Oscar winner. Green Legend will now land on Netflix in the first quarter of 2016 in conjunction with its release in Chinese theatres and on IMAX.
