Bosses At A Georgia Firm Are Suing R&b Star Akon For Failing To Pay Contractors For Work They Carried Out At His Home.
Capital Floors executives claim the Locked Up star owes them thousands for work on singer's floors, and they've filed a $15,000 (GBP9,400) lien against his home.
The contractor admits Akon has paid some of the costs, and the $15,000 represents the balance. If he doesn't pay up, there could be another $50,000 (GBP31,000) in damages filed, according to TMZ.com.
Akon already has a lien against his home - another contractor claims he's more than $35,000 (GBP22,000) for work on his Georgia mansion and in 2012, a contractor claimed he was owed $51,941 (GBP32,000) for work to the same property.
