British rock impresario Alan Mcgee is recovering in hospital in Wales after suffering a hernia last week (ends04Dec16).
The former Oasis manager, who now looks after the likes of The Jesus And Mary Chain and The Happy Mondays posted an update on his condition on his Facebook page and Instagram account on Tuesday (06Dec16).
"Good news," MCGee, 56, wrote. "I got taken into hospital last weds (Wednesday) with a hernia coming through my stomach in the middle of that they told me they were keeping me in as I had an inflamed colon (sic)."
He explained he got the medical treatment he needed just in time and the inflammation was receding.
"I caught it in time so glad to get out," he added. "I went in for an antibiotic and will come out a week later."
