Len Goodman announced his departure from the show after 12 years earlier this month.
Former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge Alesha Dixon has ruled out retuning to the show, after head judge Len Goodman leaves next year. Dixon, a former Mirrorball trophy winner, joined the ‘Strictly’ judging panel in 2009 before leaving the show for 'Britain's Got Talent’.
Alesha Dixon has ruled out a return to ‘Strictly’.
Speaking at the AOL Build UK event on Friday, Dixon said: “No I'm certainly not going back. For me it's about moving forward and actually I'm really sad that Len is leaving but I totally understand. I had a great catch up with Bruno Tonioli recently and it's a massive deal because he's been there from the start.”
Some viewers complained that the judge’s outfits were too revealing on the May 23rd broadcast.
Media watchdog Ofcom has ruled that they will not be investigating ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ over the revealing dresses worn by judges Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden on the May 23rd semi-final. It’s the second time in less than a year the ITV talent show has been cleared by Ofcom over the judges’ wardrobe choices.
‘Britain’s Got Talent’ is in the clear over Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon’s outfits.
Holden’s yellow gown, which featured a plunging neckline and Dixon’s black and sheer jumpsuit prompted 19 complaints from viewers who found the outfits a little too revealing for the pre-watershed broadcast.
The army bandsman and magician beat singer Wayne Woodward to become this year’s winner.
Magician Richard Jones has been crowned this year’s winner of ‘Britain's Got Talent’ after a close final. The 25-year-old army bandsman impressed viewers and the judges on Saturday night (May 28th) with a military-themed trick featuring an army veteran.

"I can't believe it. Thank you so much to everyone who voted. I want to thank my family, I want to thank Fergus, I want to thank the Magic Circle and the whole community,” Jones said after winning. "They've been absolutely fantastic and everyone's been so supportive. Thank you to everyone here and everyone at home watching. It means the world to me.”

They have all pulled out of the 'BPop Live' event in Birmingham on June 19th, claiming they weren't aware of its political nature.
‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge Alesha Dixon and boybands 5IVE and East 17 are pulling out of an upcoming “Brexit gig” organised by the campaign to vote to leave the European Union, with ‘70s star Rose Royce also reportedly considering doing the same.
The BPop Live event is scheduled to take place at Birmingham’s Genting Arena on June 19th – just four days before the United Kingdom votes on whether to remain within the E.U. However, the company responsible for managing both Dixon and 5ive claimed that they only recently discovered the gig was “more a political rally”.

The talent show will return for its tenth series later this year.
Simon Cowell has said he and his fellow judges on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams, would never work again if people knew how ‘naughty’ they are backstage. The music mogul said that while the team enjoy having a laugh on stage and on screen, backstage the humour can get very x-rated.
Simon Cowell says things can get very naughty backstage at ‘BGT’.
Speaking to The Mirror, Cowell said: “I’m not even going there, seriously. It’s bad! Very naughty. We’d never work again if it went out. That’s how we say goodbye to Got Talent – ‘And this is what we didn’t broadcast…’”
ITV received criticism for the revealing dresses the two judges were wearing during Sunday night's live final of 'Britain's Got Talent'.
‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judges Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon are in hot water for their choice of clothing for the show’s final on Sunday night, after almost 200 people complained that their garments were too revealing for a pre-watershed programme.
Both judges were wearing revealing outfits with plunging necklines for the final, which went out at 7:30pm on ITV, well before the 9pm watershed. Media regulator Ofcom received 90 complaints, while the broadcaster itself had 100 people raise concern with the amount of flesh on show.

The BGT judge says a talented pooch made him fall asleep on the show.
Simon Cowell says he's always hoped to find a cat that can play the guitar during his annual TV search for a star, but now he has come across something even stranger - a dog that can apparently hypnotise people.
Simon Cowell may have just found his ultimate Britain's Got Talent star
MailOnline reports that in yesterday's edition of 'Britain's Got Talent' (Saturday 24 April), the 55-year-old music mogul seemingly fell under the spell of Krystyna Lennon's beloved pet Princess, a German spitz.

Alesha Dixon has revealed on her 35th birthday that she has now given birth to her first child; a daughter which she has colourfully named Azura Sienna.
The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge posted a message to her followers on Twitter today (October 7th 2013) reading, "Thank you for all of your lovely birthday messages! I've had the best present in the world........." Fans did not have to wait long for the meaning of this mysterious message as she then revealed, "My baby girl Azura Sienna was born last week!!! I'm elated and over the moon" - a statement that she completed with a smiley face and a series of kisses. "It seems quick because I was hiding it for so long!!! I was in my 6 month of pregnancy at the Britain's Got Talent final!" She added.
Azura is the first child of Alesha and her former backing dancer boyfriend Azuka Ononye and though it may not seem like it was a very long pregnancy, the singer had in fact been hiding it until June this year.

Simon Cowell had eggs chucked at him after a disenchanted Britain's Got Talent reject took a stand during the final on 8th June. How did his assailant sneak the half-dozen onstage though?
With a crazed smile on her face, 30 year-old Natalie Ann Holt burst out from her ranks as a member of the orchestra of Welsh opera runners-up Richard and Adam Johnson, rushed to the front of the stage with a box of eggs and began to throw them at BGT judge Simon Cowell.
Despite apologising afterwards for her "silly" stunt, Holt said she'd orchestrated the eggy onslaught as a reaction to Cowell's influence on the music industry: "I took a stand against people miming on TV and against Simon Cowell and his dreadful influence on the music industry."
She certainly made a scene: earning thousands of Twitter followers after her daring stunt became the most talked about part of the final before she was removed from the stage by security as fellow judges Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams observed the events with horror.

Star says she's faced issues over ethnicity all her life
She’s known for her larger than life persona when judging shows like Britain’s Got Talent And Strictly Come Dancing, but Alesha Dixon took on a serious tone when it came to sitting down with Cosmopolitan Magazine and discussing her experiences in the entertainment industry.
Dixon focused on the inequality and prejudice that exists in the industry today, pointing out that it still exists in spite of the efforts made in recent years to put issue of skin colour and ethnicity behind it. “Sadly, I’ve learnt that prejudice still exists in parts of the entertainment industry” she told Cosmopolitan. “I did an interview with a magazine once and the journalist quite openly said they wouldn’t put a black person on the front cover because the magazine wouldn’t sell. It made me angry because it shouldn’t be about the colour of the person’s skin, it should be about the person.”
It’s something Dixon’s all too used to, having grown up in the small town of Welwyn Garden City. “When you’re a woman of colour in a predominantly white area, you become aware of prejudice from a young age” she said. However, it was that which drove her on. “I was the only mixed-race girl in my school, but for me that was a positive thing; it made me unique. If it wasn’t for spending time with the black side of my family, perhaps I may have felt like an outcast, but I never did.”
