Alexa Chung has teamed up with Tommy Hilfiger.

The 30-year-old model and presenter will act as guest editor for the US brand's autumn collection and share her favourite pieces and must-have items from the range in videos to be featured on tommy.com/alexachung.

The program - which launches today (07.10.14) - will include Alexa's style essentials every month until January, reports WWD.

The 63-year-old fashion designer confessed it was the brunette beauty's ''great sense of style'' and 'It' girl status that attracted him to work with her.

He said: ''Alexa is the true definition of an 'It' girl -- she's cool, witty, smart and has a great sense of style.

''She knows how to mix of-the-moment styling with classic design for a unique look that's totally her own. Alexa will give our customers an insider's view of her must-have pieces from our seasonal collections, all presented through shoppable content on tommy.com and in select Tommy Hilfiger stores across Europe.''

This month, Alexa has selected a cowl-neck sweater, black leather leggings, and an A-line skirt, choosing a grey checked wool-blend cocoon coat to finish off the look.

She said of the collaboration: ''To be embraced by such a behemoth of an American fashion brand is a huge honour.''
