LATEST: The group of Greek lawyers angry at the portrayal of Alexander the Great as a bisexual in the movie ALEXANDER were pleasantly surprised when they watched a preview screening.
The furious bunch had insisted the legendary conqueror was heterosexual, and threatened to sue film studio Warner BROS and director Oliver Stone unless it was made clear that actor Colin Farrell was portraying a fictional version.
But, after a special preview screening yesterday (02DEC04), the legal team were relieved to find the film was less sexy than they feared.
Lawyer GIANNIS VARNAKAS says, "There is a kiss that can be interpreted in many ways, but we have avoided the worst. "Fortunately it was not what we had feared. The people can go and see the movie."03/12/2004 03:07
