The cast of ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ made fans’ dreams come true on Monday, when they staged a reunion over two decades since the show went off the air.

A photo of the cast as they are now (including Will Smith) was shared by Alfonso Ribeiro on Instagram, showing the group posing on a beachside deck. No explanation for the get together was given, but the pic has made fans wonder if an onscreen reunion could be on the cards.

Say it isn’t so but Alfonso Ribeiro, the former Carlton Banks who won our hearts all over again on ‘Dancing With The Stars’, may be forced to leave the show prematurely due to injury.

Could it all be over for Alfonso on DWTS?

TMZ reports that the 43 year old injured his back during rehearsals on Wednesday night after overcompensating for a nagging groin injury which has bothered him for weeks. The groin injury was said to have happened when Ribeiro was performing his signature ‘Carlton dance’ a few weeks back.

On ‘Dancing with the Stars’ last night (October 6th), our famous contestants let us in on their ‘most memorable year’, as each gave a routine based on an important time in their lives. While emotions were running high, former ‘Fresh Prince of Bel Air’ star Alfonso Ribeiro gave us all the trip down memory lane we'd all been waiting for as he performed his famous ‘Carlton’ dance.

The actor mixed in his character’s famous party piece with a jazz routine set to Tom Jones classic, ‘It’s Not Unusual’. The judges were suitably impressed with Ribeiro’s skills and rewarded him and partner Witney Carson with 40 points, the only perfect score of the night.

The Graham Norton show brought on an unexpected Fresh Prince of Bel Air reunion this week, as Will Smith performed with his son Jaden and even DJ Jazzy Jeff paid a surprise visit. The whole thing came about as Jaden got up to prove he had inherited his dad’s rapping prowess in a freestyle, as Smith Sr. beatboxed. Jaden got an enthusiastic ovation from the audience, before his dad took over for a verse. And that’s where it got intense, as Will rapped: "Last time I was here, I did my 'Fresh Prince' rap / Eight million YouTube hits was on that / I can see your face, you like, 'What has he left?' / Well, this time I brought my DJ Jazzy Jeff!"

Cue camera pan to Dj Jazzy Jeff and the start of the most intense Fresh Prince medley television has seen yet. But it was when Smith brought on the final surprise of the night – Alfonso Ribeiro, aka Carlton himself – that things really kicked off. The actor Alfonso Ribeiro has married Angela Unkrich, People magazine have confirmed. On Saturday (October 13, 2012), Alfonso, who is best known for playing Carlton Banks in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air got married for the second time. He has been engaged to Angela since July this year.

On Sunday, the 41 year-old posted a message to his 17,000 Twitter followers, to say “Last night I got married to the most incredible woman in the world ‪@angiesue224.” Unkrich, 31, posted her own tweet, to say “1st morning waking up as Mrs. Ribeiro = AMAZING!!! So happy and blessed!” Alfonso also took a few moments to correct some careless news tweeters, who had posted faulty info about the wedding. The Celebrity Café posted “'Dancing with the Stars' contestant Alfonso Ribeiro ties the knot…” to which he replied, somewhat fastidiously, “I was never on DWTS.” A few hours later, the excitement of the wedding had clearly passed, as he was busy tweeting his feelings on the Yankees’ game, instead.

Ribeiro was born in the Bronx and launched his career when he starred in a Pepsi commercial alongside Michael Jackson in the 1980s. Then, he went on to star in Silver Spoons between 1984 to 1987. Widespread attention came when he landed the role of Carlton Banks in Fresh Prince, starring alongside Will Smith. He was previously married to Robin Stapler, with whom he had a child, nine year-old Sienna.

One Direction are the latest stars to link up with Pepsi, as the soft drinks company tries to boost its sales, reports The Herald Standard.

Come forward a bit, and Britney Spears, then the innocent schoolgirl, is selling soda. Now you can look forward to a Pepsi ad featuring British Boy-wonders, One Direction, and NFL star, Drew Brees, in a clip that sees them vie for a can of the fizzy pop. Brees also performs with the group as part of Pepsi's "Live for Now" campaign, which has also featured Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry. Pepsi have also tried to break the sporting market, with ad campaigns featuring the world’s biggest sporting stars, like Lionel Messi and Frank Lampard. In fact, they’ve upped media spending in the United States by more than 40 per cent during the second quarter compared with a year ago, after losing market share to soft drink-giants Coca-Cola Co. in recent years.

One Direction, whilst technically being losers from the X Factor, have become one of the world’s biggest boy bands. Their new album, Take Me Home, will be released on November 13th. Brees is the record-breaking quarterback for the New Orleans Saints.
