It's a wonder why the prehistoric tribe of Minions have managed to survive so long with limited access to their staple diet of bananas and very little in the way of intelligence. But they make it their life's work to follow and serve the most despicable of villains in return for their care - though, as time goes on, it seems there are fewer and fewer baddies left in the world, ever decreasing down to the Minion's own ineptitudes. From dinosaurs to vampires, Minions have always been loyal to the evil they serve, but after each tragic and accidental death, they are forced to move on. Stuck in a tight spot with no master to serve, they find themselves bored and depressed; that is until head Minions Kevin, Stuart and Bob decide it's time to set out on an adventure. Through blizzards and mountains, never-ending fields and deadly oceans they travel until they reach New York in 1968. They hitchhike to Orlando's annual Villain-Con and it's there they find their new mistress, Scarlet Overkill, and their only hope of saving Minion-kind.

Susan Cooper works as an analyst for the CIA; rarely out where the action is and working entirely from the office, advising some of the organisation's top agents during their most deadly assignments. However, following a serious lapse in judgement at the hands of her partner during a bomb disposal mission, the agency are forced to enlist another member of the team to uncover the location of the nuclear weapon. Deciding now is the time to drop her boring persona and become the super keen spy she always wanted to be, Susan volunteers to go undercover - to much derision from her colleagues who barely know her name let alone her position in the CIA. She's allowed to prove herself on the task though, with no appropriate alternative, but can she show that Susan Cooper is just as deadly as her team?

The social pecking order of high schools has to be hard enough without discovering that, without your knowledge or consent, you have received a less than flattering label. When high school senior Bianca (Mae Whitman) is at a party, she discovers that she is supposedly a DUFF, or Designated Ugly Fat Friend. The revelation comes as a shock as she is neither ugly nor fat, and soon she discovers that she is in fact simply being labelled as such because she isn't as popular as some of the other members of her high school. Thus begins Bianca's popularity revolution, in which she fights to clear the name of anyone previously landed with the title of DUFF.

Elizabeth (Allison Janney), a young movie star is heading off to spend time with her family over Memorial Day in 1980s rural New England. She brings her partner, Peter (Christian Camargo) to meet her brother, Herb (William Hurt), her son, Eric (Ben Whishaw) and his girlfriend, Eva (Juliet Rylance, and the family doctor, Louis (Jean Reno). Throughout a whirlwind weekend, Stephen (Mark Rylance) tries to keep calm across the land where a majestic bald eagle is trying to raise its young, with the help of his wife, Alex (Katie Holmes). The dysfunctional family battle against each other as they struggle to find true happiness and unity before their personalities tear them apart for good.

When Tammy is late for work following an unlikely road accident, she is fired from her job at Toppy Jacks fast food restaurant. And that's just the icing on the cake when she gets home to find that her husband has been sleeping with their neighbour. With nowhere to stay, she decides to take a road trip to Niagara Falls, but first she needs to borrow the car from her mother. When she refuses, the only person left to turn to is her alcoholic and diabetic grandmother Pearl who, unfortunately for Tammy, also happens to have an adventurous streak and wants to come along for the ride. The journey is, predictably, full of serious hitches. Not only does Pearl get arrested, but Tammy gets into some serious trouble with the police after she attempts an 'armed' robbery on a nearby Toppy Jacks, crashes a speedboat on the side of a lake and nearly runs some sightseers over in a nature park. It's no smooth ride, but it could be the perfect bonding experience.

'Tammy' is a hilarious new comedy serving as main star Melissa McCarthy's ('The Heat', 'Bridesmaids') first venture into film writing. It co-stars and has been co-written and directed by her husband Ben Falcone in his directorial debut and it is scheduled for UK release on July 4th 2014.

Tammy's life seems to have just become an unfortunate string of events having been dismissed from her job at fast food joint Toppy Jacks and discovered that her husband has been having an affair with the neighbour. Now penniless and virtually homeless, Tammy decides to set out on a road trip to Niagara Falls. Her mother down the street refuses to lend her the car, however, and she is forced to beg a favour from her diabetic but resolutely alcoholic grandmother Pearl. Unfortunately for Tammy, Pearl wants to come along for the ride, and after finding out that Pearl has enough money to provide for them both on the way, Tammy accepts - even if it means becoming her grandmother's personal carer. It's by no means a smooth ride, with Pearl getting arrested and Tammy trying to rob a Toppy Jacks, but it could change both their lives forever.

After spectacularly losing a local spelling bee as a youngster, the now 40-year-old Guy Trilby is determined to go back and change it. Having developed his spelling ability substantially over the decades, he decides to enter the National Quill Spelling Bee after discovering a loophole which states that anyone past the 8th grade cannot compete. Having given up on academic achievement before he passed 8th grade, the contest's judges struggle to deny him the opportunity to compete despite arrant fury from parents of potential winners who believe that his age now gives him an advantage. Initially rude and insulting towards his pre-pubescent competitors, he soon starts to develop a friendship with Chaitainya; an enthusiastic young boy with no friends who Guy takes under his wing. However, not everyone's happy with what Guy ends up teaching Chaitainya about the world.

Guy Trilby is a 40-year-old man who dropped out of high school as a young boy and remains bitter about losing a spelling bee. Thus, now older and wiser, he finds a way to enter the National Quill Spelling Bee by abusing a loophole which states that anyone past the 8th grade cannot compete. As he abandoned his studies before passing 8th grade, he decides that he has every right to qualify for the competition, to the annoyance of entrants' parents and contest officials alike as, of course, his age gives him an unfair advantage despite his educational failures. Along the way he meets a young boy named Chaitainya who appears to have no friends his own age and who Guy Trilby gladly takes under his debauched, f-word riddled wing.

Mr. Peabody is doubtlessly the most intelligent and most accomplished dog on the planet, and undeniably outshines the human race too. However, despite his achievements, he is determined to maintain a normal life for his adopted human son Sherman by inviting round Penny a classmate of his with whom he wants Sherman to be friends. She has other ideas, however, and only shows interest when Sherman agrees to show her Mr. Peabody's WABAC - a time machine in which they travel into the past despite being expressly forbidden. When Peabody finds out, he realises that their actions have ripped a hole in the space-time continuum and they are forced to return to the past to re-write history and save the universe. Along the way they meet some of the biggest legends of history, including Leonardo Da Vinci and Sigmund Freud, who help them on their quest.

'Mr. Peabody & Sherman' is a brilliantly funny animated movie based on the characters from the 'The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show' in the sixties in the 'Peabody's Improbable History' segments. It has been directed by Rob Minkoff ('The Lion King', 'Stuart Little', 'The Haunted Mansion') and written by Ted Key ('Hazel', 'The Million Dollar Duck', 'Gus') and Craig Wright ('Dirty Sexy Money', 'Underemployed'). 'Mr. Peabody & Sherman' is set for release in the UK on February 7th 2014.

Abby is a particularly well-rated massage therapist who enjoys living life to the fullest while her quiet and correct brother Paul is the opposite with his failing dental practise and an awkward teenage daughter to look after. Abby needs a new place to live and when her boyfriend offers her a home at his place, things start to get complicated for her. On a regular day at work, she finds herself unable to face her new client having developed a phobia of skin-to-skin contact which not only puts her career in the gutter, but also drastically affects her relationship with her boyfriend. Meanwhile, her niece Jenny develops a crush on him and attempts to seduce him despite his love for Abby. Paul's life has also taken a dramatic change after a patient claimed that Paul's healing hands cured his toothache, leading to a much fuller waiting room at his surgery. But will his new found magic touch help Abby regain her life back? 

'Touchy Feely' is the hearting-tugging drama about the unpredictability of our futures and the importance of family support. Directed and written by Lynn Shelton ('My Effortless Brilliance', Humpday', 'Your Sister's Sister'), it's a movie that will see a few laughs, a few sighs and definitely a few tears.
