Following her latest stint in a psychiatric facility, Amanda Bynes was released yesterday, October 30^th. Bynes spent just two days at the clinic, despite a judge’s ruling that she was to spend a month in treatment. According to TMZ, the troubled actress asked to be released on Thursday, to the dismay of friends and family. She walked out just three days after the judge’s ruling. The whole thing was a bit more formal than it sounds, however. After the ruling, Amanda contested her involuntary psychiatric hold at a hearing at the facility. Such hearing must be held within four days after a judge decides on a mandatory psychiatric hold.

Bynes is on her meds, but she is still considered unstable.

Despite getting a temporary conservatorship, Amanda’s mother Lynn Bynes cannot make decisions about her psychiatric treatment.

What ever the cause of Amanda’s problems last year, the young star does seem to be on the road to recovery, but can she make a career comeback?

Amanda Bynes made a name for herself on Nickelodeon, first on sketch show 'All That' and then with her own series 'The Amanda Show'. She then began her transition from television to movies first starring in What a Girl Wants and She’s All That. In 2007 Amanda starred in the remake of Hairspray alongside Zac Efron and John Travolta. Her performance seemed to show that the young actress was capable of transition from teen stardom into a promising adult career. Then in 2010 Bynes announced she was retiring from acting though she would later change her mind and instead say she was merely taking time off. Amanda’s break from acting. however, would mark the start of her very public troubles which began with a DUI charge in April 2012.

Months after Amanda Bynes made news with her odd behavior and alleged mental illness, her mother, Lynn Bynes, is stepping up to defend her daughter and set the record straight. She has denied the mental illness claims entirely and attributed all of her daughter’s antics to marijuana. This explanation seems to fit with Bynes’ previous history – in May 2013, the actress was arrested for throwing a bong out of the window of her New York apartment.

Bynes is feeling much better these days, no thanks to medication, according to her mother.

"Amanda has no mental illness whatsoever. She has never been diagnosed as schizophrenic or bipolar," Bynes tells Us Weekly in a statement, via attorney Tamar Arminak. "She is very sorry for all the hurtful tweets, statements and actions that occurred while she was under the influence of marijuana."

The newly released Bynes has been living very low-key for the past few days – so much so that gossip websites are forced to report on instances like her going to Costco (which she did earlier in the day, apparently) or walking the dogs. Hopefully, if she keeps this low-profile for a while longer, Bynes will be able to escape the buzz that her breakdown created earlier this year.

It’s finally good news for Amanda Bynes, who has reportedly left the treatment facility where she spent the last two months. People magazine report that the actress is done with inpatient treatment at the rehab center and is now completing her recovery at her parents’ LA home.

So the latest celebrity feud happens to be between Miley Cyrus and Sinead O'connor, who have begun getting at each other's throats recently and airing all their dirty laundry over the internet. Amanda Bynes has now left UCLA Medical Center where she was receiving treatment for a mental illness in favour of a more upmarket, relaxed rehab facility in sunny Malibu.

The star is no doubt troubled, but there are many in the spotlight who have been, so an elite rehabilitation clinic like The Canyon, where the likes of Brooke Mueller have previously been treated, seems the perfect option for her to get her head together. Since the move, her lawyer Tamar Arminak has told TMZ that she is making 'great strides towards recovery, while previously been locked up at UCLA left her "scared" and "afraid" because she "was stuck with people in much worse condition than her" according to sources.

Other sources have revealed, however, that Amanda hasn't exactly tried her best to improve, claiming, "She interacts with people very little and rarely leaves the area where she's living" since she moved in 3 weeks ago. She is also apparently becoming increasingly anxious about paparazzi attention, something that has been made clear over the past months by her array of messy wigs that she has used to hide her face as much as possible.

Amanda Bynes has moved from the Reagan UCLA Medical Centre and moved to a private facility outside Los Angeles. Her mother's attorney, Tamar Arminak, made the announcement yesterday (Monday 30th September). According to TMZ, Bynes is now residing in The Canyons, an exclusive Malibu rehab centre which caters specially for celebrities.

Bynes was in the Medical Center undergoing a court-ordered mental health treatment. She was placed in care after she reportedly started a fire outside a Thousand Oaks home in July. Her stay in the psychiatric facility, originally set at 72 hours, has been continually extended. The 27-year-old actress has been placed under the conservatorship of her mother, Lynn Bynes, after a court hearing earlier this month.

Amanda Bynes’ rehab entry has changed the terms of her treatment, TMZ reports. The troubled star, who was taken on 5150 hold and then had her stay at the UCLA psychiatric ward extended at the end of August, has now moved to a Malibu rehab center, according to the website. The center, The Canyon, reportedly does not have the psychiatric care facilities of UCLA, which could jeopardize Bynes’ treatment for a serious mental illness, but it does cater specifically to celebrities, so the star is getting her privacy at the very least.

The troubled actress has moved from UCLA to a private facility.

The website reports that Amanda prefers to keep to herself and has barely interacted with other people since her entry into the center. The retired actress checked into The Canyon about three weeks ago and she has remained within her living area at the center since then. Apparently, the star has given up the trademark wig that she was seen wearing in the weeks prior to her psychiatric hold. However, she is now paranoid that the paparazzi will find her.

Amanda Bynes is apparently too unstable to stand trial for an alleged DUI incident that took place last year. Bynes was due to stand trial for the allegation on Monday, 24 September, however a report from TMZ has revealed that the judge for the case was unsure whether Bynes could comprehend the seriousness of the trial, and has arranged a pre-trial to evaluate her mental state.

Rich Hutton, Amanda's lawyer, apparently spoke with TMZ on Monday after the case was rescheduled at the last minute. According to Hutton, the judge presiding over the case called into question "the mental capacity" of the former child actress, and questioned whether she properly understood the formalities of a court hearing. The judge proceded to re-arrange the trial date, depending on the outcome of a trial in a mental health court, where a judge and a team of medical expert will determine her mental state. The DUI incident in question took place in April 2012.

However, according to TMZ, clear signs of schizophrenia are present and doctors are looking to extend her psychiatric hold from a mere 72 hours, to two weeks, giving them ample time to observe and diagnose the former child star’s behavior. Additionally, Bynes’ parents have finally filed for a conservatorship, a measure which has been discussed for months, but never actually implemented.

The star has been hospitalized on a 5150 hold – news, which many had seen coming for a while. What’s more outlandish is the offence that landed Bynes in treatment. The star had apparently attempted and possibly succeeded at lighting a small fire in a random stranger’s yard.

Amanda Bynes is quickly replacing Lindsay Lohan as gossip column fodder.

According to TMZ, the star was detained after the fire department responded to a call from a home in Thousand Oaks, CA. Amanda had been accused of trespassing nearby. When the fire brigade arrived at the scene, they reportedly found the singer, standing next to a small fire in the house’s driveway. The police department was subsequently called on the scene. Bynes was detained and is currently under psychiatric hold. It is unclear whether the owners of the home are planning to press charges.

According to a resident in Amanda Bynes’ apartment complex in NYC, living with the star is a nightmare of horror movie proportions. An anonymous neighbor of the retired actress talked to the New York Post about her erratic behavior and questionable habits. “She stares you out in the elevator. Residents are terrified to be alone with her. She knocked on one woman’s door, and when it opened, she screamed ‘You’re ugly,’ and ran away. Amanda always seems to be alone, muttering to herself and looking completely out of it.”

If what the unnamed resident is true, then Bynes’ behavior has gone beyond quirky, bordering on psychotic. Most news outlets have been buzzing with sightings of the star, behaving not exactly like herself. It began with sightings of Bynes around town in a number of strange wigs, drastic changes to her appearance like the infamous cheek piercings and then reports started coming in of Bynes shoplifting, posting nude photos on twitter and generally abusing social media. It isn't a pretty picture.

However, according to The Daily Mail, the actress’s LA based family has made a move to file for a conservatorship. According to The Mail’s source, Rick Bynes is currently in New York, but isn’t able to do anything about his daughter’s condition, because she refuses to see him. Hopefully, Bynes Sr. will be able to help Amanda get the help she apparently needs.

The 'is she really crazy?' saga surrounding Amanda Bynes continues to be added to from both sides of the argument. On Friday (May 31) evening, a seriers of interview excerpts from her neighbours living in the New York City apartment complex where Bynes was arrested was published by The New York Post, and not one of them had a nice thing to say about the troubled star.

Actually, some of the stuff that got said is quite extreme and paint a rather damning portrait of the former child star as someone who made life in the apartment a living hell. One resident at the West 47th Street building described living with the star “like living with Linda Blair in ‘The Exorcist,’” whilst another went on further and gave a few examples of why Bynes is such a lousy neighbour. They said, “She stares you out in the elevator. Residents are terrified to be alone with her. She knocked on one woman’s door, and when it opened, she screamed ‘You’re ugly,’ and ran away. Amanda always seems to be alone, muttering to herself and looking completely out of it.”

The two interviewees weren't the only ones fed up with Bynes' behaviour either, as one said that just about everyone in the building - staff and residents - is completely fed up with Bynes' behaviour in the public areas of the building. A source also went on to recollect the day before her arrest, when she apparently high-tailed it from a cab without paying the $150 fare, leaving her cell phone in the backseat. The source went on to add, "the good news is, she hasn’t been seen in the building since her arrest.”

The Amanda Bynes saga is getting weirder and weirder. Firstly, she called Rihanna ugly and said the reason that Chris Brown beat her up was because she wasn't pretty enough. Then she said it wasn't her in control of the Twitter account at the time. Now she's saying the Bajan star is a "beauty" as well as posting a photograph of the pair she says was "mocked up". It's all well and good, only, the picture - taken in 2007 - is real, according to the New York Daily News. Does Amanda really not remember?

"This is a mocked up image I found on the Internet that I LOVE!" Bynes, 27, wrote. "I love @rihanna! She's such a beauty!" The photograph was a real picture of the pair posing  with Chris Daughtry in 2007, which Bynes clearly doesn't remember. The actress' bizarre feud with Rihanna began late last week, with the troubled star telling the singer, "You look so ugly tryin to be white."

Bynes deleted the tweets and claimed she never wrote them, saying, "I saw a bunch of mocked up tweets about me bashing Rihanna in my mentions," though most news outlets have screenshots of the tweets from Amanda's page. In other words, these weren't 'fake' posts circulating Twitter.

Bynes has endured a pretty rough week, getting arrested at her New York apartment for drug possession and shooting down a number of celebrities on Twitter. She reportedly told Rihanna that Chris Brown assaulted her because she wasn't pretty enough. She then told John Legend's girlfriend Chrissy Tiegen, "Ur not a pretty model compared to me. I signed to Ford models @ age 13. I don't look up to u beauty wise. I'm far prettier than u! I'm offended that you're saying I have a mental illness when I show no sign of it, but thankfully not one man that wants me wants you and you are anold ugly model compared to me! You look 45! You're not pretty so I'm not intimidated by you! I think you're jealous that you're just an ugly model whos career is uninspiring! I don't respect you! You're no beauty queen! I'm a beauty queen!" Wowzers! The rant came after Tiegen wrote on Twitter, "The fact that Amanda Byneshas any "support" to retweet is really unsettling. ...Support people with mental illness, yes. But don't condone/enable scary and poor behaviour."

Amanda Bynes' bizarre week continued in ridiculous style this week, with the former Nickelodeon star allegedly slamming Rihanna on Twitter and claiming her abusive ex-boyfriend Chris Brown beat her because she's not pretty enough. The Bajan pop-star appeared to get wind of the deleted tweets pretty quickly, posting, "Ya see what happens when they cancel Intervention?" before Bynes responded, "unlike ur fugly faced self I don't do drugs! U need the intervention dog! I met ur ugly face in person! U aren't pretty u know it!" (she deleted the tweet shortly afterwards).

The latest on the bizarre rant is that Amanda Bynes is claiming the tweets were fake and were posted by someone else. "I saw a bunch of mocked up tweets about me bashing Rihanna in my mentions. No one really saw this one coming: Amanda Bynes launched a surprising and racist attack on Rihanna, posting a multitude of offensive tweets. The former Disney star will have some questions to answer to, but was it really her?

Amanda wrote: “@Rihanna you look so ugly tryin to be white,” before saying, “Chris Brown beat you because you’re not pretty enough.” Amanda then retweeted a post from Rihanna which said: “Look who came to see me!! My lover Stella McCartney!!!” and subsequently responded: “No one wants to be your lover so you call everyone and their mother that I almost named my new dog Rihanna.” Rihanna did have her say, though, writing “Ya see what happens when they cancel Intervention?” Amanda, 27, wasn’t finished there, though, and said: “Unlike ur fugly faced self I don't do drugs! U need the intervention dog! I met ur ugly face in person! U aren't pretty u know it!” Bynes was in trouble last week for allegedly throwing a foot long bong out of the 36th floor of her New York apartment. You thought we were going to say Subway, didn’t you? Anyway, she maintains it was a vase, which, when you think about, makes little difference to the fact she threw something off the 36th floor.

It wouldn’t be totally unbelievable for her to send these tweets to Rihanna, but we don’t think she’s racist. A spoilt brat with a plethora of issues, yes, but not a racist.

Plot twist in the Amanda Bynes arrest story: following the troubled actress’s arrest earlier this week for marijuana possession, Bynes has claimed that she was sexually harassed by one of the arresting officers. Bynes made the allegations over Twitter this Saturday, the New York Post reports. Over several tweets, the star made the following statement: “Don’t believe the reports about me being arrested. It’s all lies. I was sexually harassed by one of the cops the night before last which is who then arrested me.”

She later went on to explain her side of the story: “He lied and said I threw a bong out the window when I opened the window for fresh air. Hilarious.”

Sarcasm aside, however, the accusations Bynes has made are very serious and are being taken as such. Law enforcement officials are looking into the case and an NYPD spokesperson said, following Bynes’ Twitter outburst: “He lied and said I threw a bong out the window when I opened the window for fresh air. Hilarious.”

Amanda Bynes was arrested for drugs possession at her New York City apartment on Thursday evening (May 23, 2013). The television star covered her face with a wild platinum wig as she was led out of her building in Manhattan and into night court, where she will face a judge this morning.

TMZ.com covered the whole thing, initially reporting that Bynes had been arrested for marijuana possession. Law enforcement sources said police found weed when they responded to a call about a disorderly person at Bynes' apartment building. It has since transpired that the person in the lobby was Bynes herself, smoking a joint.

When police arrived, she was back in her apartment and let officers in when they knocked, however, she also tossed a bong out of the window, which led to the eventual arrest for both drug possession and reckless engagement (and felony tampering with evidence). Sources confirm Bynes was briefly taken to hospital for a psychiatric evaluation before she was booked. Amanda reportedly went ballistic during the arrest, yelling "Don't you know who I am?".

Amanda Bynes has conceded that she underwent a nose job and has pleaded with magazines to stop using pictures of her old look. "The reason I've asked all magazines and blogs to stop using old photos of me is I don't look like that anymore! I had a nose job to remove skin that was like a webbing in between my eyes," she said in an extended Twitter post on Sunday.

The teen television star - now 27-years-old - has been in the headlines again recently following a handful of bizarre tweets. She recently told fans she had to drop 35 pounds. "I wasn't going to tell anyone, but I look so much prettier in my new photos that I don't want old photos used anymore!," she tweeted over the weekend. "When will they stop? I will never look like that again!" Bynes, who has certainly changed her image in recent years, assured fans that the surgery was "the most amazing thing for my confidence," and received a flurry of supporting tweets for fans. One said, "You're so pretty though! You are the queen!!!"

Bynes - who is now more famous for her erratic behaviour than anything else - shot to fame as a child star on 'All That' before landing her own sketch show 'The Amanda Show.'

The ongoing train-wreck that is Amanda Bynes gave us another Twitter revelation this weekend, admitting on Sunday (May 5) that she has had plastic surgery in the past, revealing that she has had a rhinoplasty during a rant against magazines using old photos of her. In her mostly negative Tweet, she spoke very positively about her surgery and how much it has helped her confidence.

The former child actress has regularly been posting aggrieved Tweets about her misrepresentation in the media, who she reckons only use old, unflattering pictures of her in their glossys. To combat the neigh-sayers, Bynes' long-Tweet gave reason behind her annoyance; because the pictures don't feature her new nose.

Amanda Bynes is going a little Michael Jackson at the moment and trying to reclaim her 'lost years', in particular she seems to be missing her 'slutty teen' years. What is happening with Amanda Bynes these days?

After bailing on L.A. and her acting career in favor of a freer East Coast lifestyle, the troubled 26-year-old has been acting a bit odd, to say the least. In the past couple of weeks, Bynes has revealed her edgy new look (complete with red hair and cheek piercing) and tweeted up a storm, including a not-so-subtle message to rapper Drake. The message read "I want Drake to murder my v-----." As you might imagine, it raised more than a couple of eyebrows. And while all of this might seem innocuous enough, coupled with her previous driving mishaps and all-over-the-place behaviour of the past few months, it has people concerned for the star’s life. Who would those people be exactly?

According to E!News, Amanda’s West Coast-based family has been paying close attention to her antics of late and they are concerned. A source says that Amanda’s parents would like her to return to the West Coast, where they can keep an eye on her, but the rebellious 20-something refuses. The source also claims that even though the actress will remain in NY for the time being, her relatives are hoping that everything will be fine, but are ready to step in, if needed. Talk about overbearing parents!

My gracious Amanda Bynes what on earth have you said on Twitter this week!? Well, we’re going to tell you, and everyone else, but it’s not pretty. Ready? Here goes… “I want @drake to murder my vagina." That was, in case you hadn’t guessed, aimed at Canadian producer superstar Drake and, well, certainly leaves us in no doubt as to what the 26 year-old thinks about Drake and whether she finds him, um, attractive. Or maybe she’s just a nihilist.

You kind of wonder whether her account’s been hacked, but then this isn’t the first bizarre tweet Bynes has posted, as E! Online have pointed out. Here’s a couple of examples: "When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You know that your name is safe in their mouth." Also, how about this boastful claim "I created the phrase lly & lololol. *proud*". Hmmm. Granted, these aren’t quite as, ahem, graphic as her latest tweet, but it suggests that it has perhaps come from Bynes and not someone who has hacked her.

More seriously, Bynes is in a bit of a turbulent state at the moment, after suffering a series of misdemeanors last year for a number of driving-related incidents which eventually saw her license taken off her and suspended. Thankfully for her a settlement in December meant that any charges were dismissed and she got it back again. No word yet on whether Drizzy has taken her up on her offer…

Amanda Bynes was not wandering around a New York City tanning salon naked last week, CCTV footage confirms. A recent In Touch magazine article claimed the actress "seemed totally out of it" while visiting the salon, with an alleged eyewitness revealing, "She didn't seem to care that everyone saw her naked."

However, that account now seems unlikely, with James Oliver, CEO of the Beach Bum Tanning Salon telling US Weekly, "Employee testimony and security footage have confirmed that Ms. Bynes was not acting inappropriately. She is a long-time client and we stand by her account." Bynes had previously denied the story on November 1, 2012, somewhat boastfully saying, "I'm suing In Touch for printing a fake story. I'm not 'troubled.' I don't get naked in public. I'm 26, a multi-millionaire, retired. Please respect my privacy." Unfortunately for Bynes, police reports confirm that she's had a pretty rough year, pleading not guilty to two separate counts of hit-and-run driving in September. If convicted, she faces up to a year in jail, though she's also facing one DUI charge and two charges of driving on a suspended license.

Amanda Bynes has said that she will take legal action against the gossip magazine In Touch, which published a story about the former child actress saying that she was seen wandering aimlessly through a New York tanning salon wearing nothing but tanning goggles.

Bynes, who has recently faced huge criticism for a string of driving-related incidents that have seen her incarcerated a number of times, told US Weekly magazine that she will be suing In Touch for printing a false story about her, as well as insisting that her mental state is nothing to worry about. 

She was clearly unimpressed by the accusations when she went to US Weekly, telling the mag: "I'm not 'troubled.' I don't get naked in public. I'm 26, a multi-millionaire, retired. Please respect my privacy."

Amanda Bynes has leapt to her own defence as rumours about her life keep escalating with each passing day, with the star telling US Weekly that she in fact did not parade around a Los Angeles tanning salon in the nude and does not require professional help with any ‘mental problems.’

It’s been an embarrassing week for Lindsay Lohan. After publicly questioning why Amanda Bynes’ recent driving offences hadn’t been punished as harshly as her own past misdemeanours, Lohan had clearly troubled the gods of fate, as she was arrested for allegedly striking a pedestrian with her Porsche outside a New York nightclub. Now, the tire company Goodyear have clearly decided that both Lindsay and Amanda are both as bad as each other and have sent them almost identical letters, offering them free driving lessons.

TMZ have obtained copies of a letter, allegedly sent by a representative for Goodyear, offering to fly the two hapless actresses to Akron, for private, one-on-one driving tuition, in attempt to reduce these Lindsay Lohan arrests and Amanda Bynes DUI incidents. The letter addressed to Bynes begins by saying “We’re sorry to hear about your latest driving mishap. We understand that you’ve struggled behind the wheel before and that driving can be a real challenge… As a public figure, the spotlight is always on you and it’s even more important for you to know the basics when getting in the driver’s seat… We’re concerned for your safety and the safety of those who hit the road each day and we’d like to help out any way we can.”

The cheeky communications rep also offered the services of their dealers to replace her tires to some of Goodyear’s top of the range ones. As yet, it’s unclear whether or not either Amanda or Lindsay plan to accept the offer.

Lindsay Lohan arrested again? It looks as though Lindsay Lohan tempted fate when she lashed out at Amanda Bynes the other day. Though she's deleted it now, on September 16, 2012, the Lindsay Lohan Twitter page contained a message from the former Disney star questioning why she had been jailed for her past misdemeanors, whilst Bynes had seemingly managed to escape punishment, thus far. Then, in a move that seems to have been conjured up by an expert scriptwriter, Lohan was arrested for allegedly striking a pedestrian with her jet black Porsche, outside a New York club.

According to a report from the New York Daily News, Jose Rodriguez, the Manhattan chef, whom she is alleged to have struck, claims that Lindsay was "slurring" and "smelled of alcohol". He also said that Lohan and her friends "acted like I was nothing. that no one could touch her because she was rich and powerful." However, the police who dealt with the case have charged her with leaving the scene of an accident but have added that there's no indication that Lohan was under the influence of alcohol. In fact, they were so convinced that she was sober, they didn't even breathalyze her.

Lindsay's spokesperson has downplayed the incident, saying that it's "much ado about nothing" and expects the drama to blow over. A source at the police department also claimed that video evidence shows that Lindsay did the honorable thing of blinking her lights at the pedestrians but Rodriguez walked out in front of her.

As if Amanda Bynes' reputation wasn't already in tatters, TMZ have reported that the 26 year old's parents have moved to California to look after her. Not a great look for an adult but clearly, her parents have acted out of necessity, as Bynes' behaviour has been spiralling out of control of late. Bynes is apparently adamant that she does not need to be placed under a conservatorship, as Britney Spears was, when her behaviour became uncontrollable but still, her parents have decided that they need to be closer to their daughter to lend her support during what is clearly a troublesome time.

Bynes' parents reportedly looked at selling their home in Cedar Park, Texas, in April after the initial Amanda Bynes DUI incident. They couldn't find a buyer so were unable to move immediately. As their daughter's situation worsened - she was involved in more than one hit and run incident, as well as a possible pot-smoking situation - they simply rented their property out and uprooted themselves to Southern California. Sources have told TMZ that her parents have been adamant in the past that Amanda does not have a problem with substance abuse though increasingly, the evidence against her seems to suggest otherwise.

Yesterday, reports emerged that Amanda "barricaded" herself into a clothes boutique changing room for almost 2 hours. When concerned staff tried to find out if she was okay, she simply told them that she needed more time. Eventually, she left in a cab, after making her purchases, with one reporter telling her that it was good that she'd started taking cabs; a sly comment on her recent string of driving offences.

Amanda Bynes' recent erratic behaviour doesn't seem to be showing any signs of levelling out. The latest reports reveal that the Nickelodeon star went on a lengthy clothes shopping trip yesterday (September 17, 2012), which saw her spend almost 2 hours in a boutique dressing room. Now, we've all suffered those embarrassing moments where we get stuck inside a too-small dress in a changing room. but 2 hours? That's pretty excessive by most people's standards. According to TMZ, Bynes went shopping in trendy West Hollywood and popped into the hip boutique Kin, where she proceeded to confuse store staff by holing herself up in the changing room for an hour and 45 minutes.

Apparently, the staff heard banging from inside the changing room every 10 minutes or so and asked if 26 year-old Bynes was okay. Another staff member was called and they drove to the store but were unable to coax Amanda out of the dressing room. "I need more time," the actress told them. When she emerged, around 5:30pm, she took a number of items to the till to pay for. At first it seemed that she had forgotten about a bathing suit top that she tried on but she remembered before leaving the store and paid for it.

When she spotted some paparazzi outside, Bynes asked the store staff if they could call her a cab. In TMZ's video, she can be seen getting into the cab, with her face covered. She is helped into the cab by a young man and refuses to comment on the reporter's question about whether or not she feels she should be under a conservatorship. The clip ends with him commenting, cheekily: "It's good that you're getting taxis now;" a comment on the recent string of Amanda Bynes DUI offences that have kept her in the headlines.

Several Amanda Bynes' DUI incidents have caused growing fears about the mental well-being of the young actress. Well, we needn't worry, according to the 26 year-old; she's absolutely fine. To recap, it's been widely reported now that Bynes had her driving license suspended in the wake of an incident in April that saw her refuse to take a sobriety test after being pulled over for a suspected DUI. However, this hasn't stopped her driving, according to several sightings; on September 11th, Bynes was seen driving aimlessly around for several hours, with TMZ alleging that she was drunk and smoking from a marijuana pipe at the time.

Following that incident she had another minor incident where she crashed into the bumper of another car, before officials eventually were left with no choice but to impound the vehicle after spotting it parked outside the Bob Hope Airport in California. A new TMZ report though says that Bynes has hit back at rumours that she's mentally unstable, insisting that she's completely fine and doesn't have an issue with drink or drugs currently.

Furthermore, Bynes seems to be pretty dismissive of the allegations being levelled at her, regarding her driving - something her recent actions would also attest to. She's reportedly claiming that the charges currently against her are made-up. It's a statement somewhat at odds with other reports that suggest the actress has indeed shown signs of mental distress, including talking to inanimate objects.
