Fact: Cult singer Amanda Palmer has rescheduled her U.K. tour after cancelling a series of shows to spend time with a close friend who is battling cancer. She was due to tour the U.K. and Ireland in March (13), but will now start the British leg of her European tour in July (13).

Fact: The Flaming Lips are considering replacing Erykah Badu with Amanda Palmer on their new cover of The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face after the R&B star objected to the video she shot with the band for the song. In the controversial promo, Badu and her sister appear naked.
