Amanda Peet ''disturbed'' her husband by offering to go naked for a role on 'Game of Thrones'.

The 43-year-old actress is desperate for a role on the show but its creators, her husband David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, have ignored all her pleas for a part.

She said: ''I really wish that I could be on 'Game of Thrones' ... but so far I can't seem to convince them to put me on the show. I told them I'll take my clothes off to no avail.

''I told Dan, D.B. Weiss, and David that I would take my clothes off. They looked very disturbed.''

Amanda - who has three children, Frankie, eight, Molly, four, and three-month-old Henry, with David - also admitted she is obsessive about cleanliness around her youngest child because she is so ''scared'' of him falling ill and insists the older kids ''scrub'' thoroughly when they come home from school.

She told Vulture: ''I'm scared, I get scared for Henry because he's so young. So I get scared to take him to a birthday party or when I take him to the school drop-off. I keep him really close to me.

''We have really strict rules about hand-washing and everything. When my kids come home from school, it's like they're scrubbing into surgery. You have to count to 30 and scrub.''

While the 'Good Wife' star is desperate for a role in 'Game of Thrones' now, she initially thought the fantasy drama series was a ''terrible idea'' that would flop.

She previously admitted: ''I thought it was a terrible idea ... terrible. It's just silly, it's like dungeons and dragons but real with real people.''
