Fans have been waiting 25 years to return to ‘Twin Peaks’ and on Friday they were given their first taste of the show’s upcoming third series. While production has only just got under way, the minute-long trailer was enough to wet the appetite of fans who have been longing to revisit the small Washington town.

Kyle MacLachlan will return as Special Agent Dale Cooper in the new ‘Twin Peaks’ series.

The clip began showing the areas famous scenery as the town’s familiar road sign: "Welcome to Twin Peaks. Population 51,201,” is being rehung. A member of the crew then says: "There's a lot of holy places up here.”

The actress, who plays troubled porn star Linda Lovelace in the movie about her life, left the rouge lippie that she wore for both the Las Vegas and New York premieres at home this time, instead opting for statement smoky eyes and scooping her hair up rather than letting her long locks hang loose in her trademark over-one-shoulder style. The ageless Sharon Stone also impressed on the red carpet, donning a sophisticated black trouser suit, while Juno Temple teamed her suit with bright yellow heels and a T-shirt featuring a cheeky Lovelace-related slogan. A very serious-looking Chris Noth, who stars as Anthony Romano in the movie, also appeared at the event, alongside his fedora-wearing co-star Adam Brody.

The stars turned out this week for the world premiere of 2 Guns, the new action movie that teams up Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg. Amanda Seyfried might be all about taking risks, as she revealed in this month’s Elle magazine, but surprisingly, filming for her upcoming movie Lovelace was actually quite tame. Not something you’d expect from a porn star biopic, however Seyfried refused to do nudity on camera and she also found ways to film the sauciest bits without getting even the slightest bit down and dirty. She recalled the fun of shooting with co-star Peter Skaarsgard and explains that everything was kept firmly PG on set.

‘I used a popsicle to simulate going down on him and I was laughing the entire time. The way the film is shot, it looks sexual but it didn’t feel that sexual or invasive while we were doing those scenes,’ she told Total Film magazine. ‘What’s great about Peter is that he’s the easiest person to do anything with. You can be like, “Drop your pants” and he’ll just shrug and say, “Alright.”’

Anticipation mounted, as the first trailer for Lovelace – the Deep Throat star’s biopic, starring Amanda Seyfried, was released yesterday. The film follows the story of Lovelace’s entry into the porn industry and the reasons behind it, as well as her eventual escape from the business and her abusive husband. It tracks the journey from her humble beginnings in the Bronx and her eventual notoriety, as well as the controversy, surrounding her life and career. Lovelace died in a carcrash 2002, after several decades of advocating against the porn industry.

Seyfried will face the challenging role alongside a talented cast.

The film features a star-studded cast – from Seyfried as Lovelace herself to Peter Sarsgaard as her opportunistic and abusive husband Chuck Traynor. Sharon Stone, Adam Brody, Chris Noth, Chloe Sevigny, Juno Temple and Hank Azaria make appearances in various supporting parts and, of course, where would a 2013 movie be without multi-tasker James Franco. He appears here as a sleazy, but still somehow charming young Hugh Hefner.

Amanda Seyfried doesn’t have any body image issues concerning her breasts – not anymore at least. The actress was recently a guest on The Ellen Degeneres Show and the conversation somehow turned to the size of Amanda’s assets – which the actress clearly had no problem with. She did advocate against harsh diets though, saying: "I looked way better when I was 15. I had huge breasts, and then I came to Hollywood and I was like 'I got to lose weight. I got to look thin and fit,' and I lost them a little bit."

The actress admitted that she now has no problem with the size and shape of any part of her body, but it did take her a while to get to this point. When Ellen asked whether Seyfried now thinks she looks good naked, the Red Riding Hood actress had this to say: "At this point in my life I do. Because you know what, it just doesn't matter anymore. You just have to. Like, when you're young you don't appreciate it, and I feel like everyone that's a bit older wishes they appreciated when they were young."

The topic came about when Amanda and Ellen were discussing Seyfried’s recent appearance in Allure magazine’s 'How to Look Good Naked' issue. When asked by the host why she was the only woman in the issue, who wasn’t actually naked (so don't waste your time scouring Google), Seyfried answered: “I really don’t know. No one asked me to be. I don’t wanna take it personally, but no one mentioned nudity.”

Amanda Seyfried laments her weight loss when she moved to Hollywood because she lost her 'beautiful huge breasts' that she possessed as a teenager.

In an interview on 'The Ellen Degeneres Show', the 'Les Miserables' star was asked if she felt that she looked good naked. 'At this point in my life, I do', she said, adding that she thinks that most older people wished that they'd appreciated what they had when they were young. 'I looked way better when I was 15', she confessed. 'I had beautiful huge breasts and then I came to Hollywood and I was like, 'I gotta lose weight, I gotta look thin and fit' and I lost them a little bit.' The 27-year-old insisted, however, that she didn't miss them because they were 'quite uncomfortable' but claimed that she had 'some nice curves' and thinks that women should embrace their figures 'as opposed to trying to get rid of everything all the time.'

It might have been a case of TMI for many viewers, but she nonetheless earned applause from the studio crowd with her empowering comments on the pressures of being too slim. The star didn't have to worry too much about her figure in her recent project though which saw her voice protagonist MK in the animated movie 'Epic' which is now out in movie theatres.

Les Miserables actress Amanda Seyfried says she lost her "beautiful, huge breasts" after moving to Hollywood to pursue a career in movies. The 27-year-old - who plays Linda Lovelace in a forthcoming biopic - called in on the Ellen Degeneres show this week to discuss her beginnings.

"I looked way better when I was 15. I had beautiful, huge breasts!" the actress explained, "And then I came to Hollywood and I was like I gotta lose weight. I gotta look thin. I gotta get fit. And I lost them a little bit." It seems she lost more than "a little bit," telling DeGeneres she was an D cup though that she doesn't miss them, "...because they were ... uncomfortable."

Despite her own decisions, Seyfried warned, "I was feminine. I had some nice curves. And I think we should appreciate that instead of trying to get rid of everything."

As I Lay Dying - which competes for the Un Certain Regard award at the Cannes Film Festival this month - is very much James Franco's baby. The 35-year-old Oscar nominee wrote, directed and stars in the movie adapted from William Faulkner's classic American novel of the same name.

Though the trailer hints at Franco's penchant for the surreal and avant-garde, it looks a far more straight laced movie than his previous stints behind the camera. The movie tells the story of Addie Bundren's death and her impoverished family's subsequent quest to bury the body in accordance with her wishes. Franco plays the second oldest child Darl, while Tim Blake Nelson appears to do a sublime job of portraying father Anse. Danny McBride plays friend of the family Vernon Tull while Fruitvale's Anha O'Reilly plays daughter Dewey Dell.

"F**k yeah." This might not be the kind of language that you naturally associate with the Hollywood actress Amanda Seyfried, but this was her response when she was asked if she'd like to take over from Liv Tyler as the face of Givenchy's Very Irresistible fragrance. "It's an honest collaboration," she told WWD. "I'm proud to be a part of [the brands I'm involved with] because what they do is really cool, especially Givenchy - they're so artistic. And I feel like I have a foot in the fashion industry now."

The advertising campaign has already been shot, with Seyfried featuring in both print and TV campaigns. The TV ad was shot by Cédric Klapisch, whilst the print campaign was helmed by Glen Luchford, with Riccardo Tisci on styling duties. The global president at Givenchy, Thierry Maman, commented that the Les Miserablees actress had been chosen for her natural "style and elegance" and added that her high profile made her "a natural pick" for the Very Irresistible brand. "Amanda is a chic, sexy woman who is a perfect fit for Givenchy."

That's not to say that Amanda's intending to head down the path of launching a celebrity fragrance any time soon though. "They're hard work, and the more you do, they take away from your work as an actor. I'm doing these two campaigns because I care about them and the people involved. They're great things to be attached to."

Harry Reams, the former porn actor best known for starring opposite Linda Lovelace in Deep Throat, has died of pancreatic cancer in Utah. Reams - who starred in almost 400 adult films - was working the lights on the famous adult movie but ended up scoring the lead role after the original star was "unable to perform his duties," according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Manhattan-born Reams was arrested in 1974 for conspiracy to distribute obscenity across state lines, eventually appearing in a court case that had broader culture implications for creative freedom. Jack Nicholson and various other stars lent their support though co-star Lovelace testified against him. He was convicted in 1976, though the verdict was overturned in 1977.

Reams struggled with alcoholism, though gave up drink in 1989, married, and became a real estate agent. In 2005, he revealed he never saw Linda Lovelace after the criminal trial and remained bitter over the conflict. "The only opportunity I had to briefly make contact with Linda Lovelace was vicariously through a friend of hers, who called me up to tell me that she needed some money; she needed a liver transplant and couldn't afford it. So I sent a thousand dollars to her... and never heard back, never got a thank-you." Lovelace - who later denounced her career in pornography - died in 2002 following complications from a serious automobile accident.

Kill Your Darlings, a movie starring Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe as a young Allen Ginsberg, has been snapped up by Sony Pictures Classics following its screening at the Sundance Film Festival. The deal is for U.S, Australian, New Zealand, South African, African TV and Eastern European rights.

The film explores how a 1944 murder brought together the young college students who would go on to become the voices of the Beat Generation. As well as Radcliffe, Kill Your Darlings stars Ben Foster, Dane DeHaan, Michael C. Hall, Jack Huston and Elizabeth Olsen. “This is an amazing movie, a great American drama, thriller, and perfect evocation of New York in the 1940′s as you have never seen on screen before,” Sony said in a statement. “With an ensemble cast that is truly mind-blowing led by Daniel Radcliffe in a profoundly moving performance as Allen Ginsberg, we are witnessing the birth of a major new American filmmaker.”

There has certainly been a clear buying trend at Sundance 2013, with Radcliffe’s movie the latest to be snapped up in super-quick time. The most high profile acquisition was The Way, Way Back – a comedy starring Steve Carell, Toni Colette and Sam Rockwell that Fox Searchlight thought was strong enough to splash $10 million on. The film has a pretty decent pedigree, with Academy Award winning writers Nat Faxon and Jim Rash getting behind the camera for their debut flick. Elsewhere, Jennifer Coolidge’s comedy Austenland found a home at Sony ($4 million), though all eyes were on big-wig Harvey Weinstein, a man known for picking up undiscovered gems at film festivals and turning them into Oscar contenders. This year, he opted for Fruitvale, a drama starring The Wire’s Michael B. Jordan that focuses on police brutality. “I was completely amazed by this incredible film. This earth-shattering story is one that needs to be told, and we are honored to be able to share Oscar’s story with audiences everywhere,” said Weinstein in a statement.

James Franco may have let slip who’s on board to direct Fifty Shades of Grey. The actor was speaking to the Sunday Times at the Sundance Festival and revealed that he was under the impression that Gus Van Sant was on board to do it. And, he revealed, if the Good Will Hunting director was on board, he’d be in favour of stepping into the hotkey-contested role of Christian Grey.

“It sounds interesting,” said Franco, when asked about the forthcoming novel adaptation. “I heard Gus [Van Sant] might direct it. If he directed it, I'd do it.” It wouldn’t be the first time that Franco had been involved in a cinematic BDSM adventure, either. He produced the BDSM documentary Kink as well as playing the role of Hugh Hefner in the porn biopic Lovelace. Gus Van Sant is no stranger to a controversial subject matter, either, with movies such as My Own Private Idaho and Drugstore Cowboy under his belt. Interestingly, as Examiner.com reported, Van Sant recently finished filming Promised Land, with the very same production company being used on Fifty Shades of Grey.

Fans of Fifty Shades are starting get impatient, waiting to find out who will be cast in the movie, as well as who will helm the production from the director’s chair. A number of fan-made ‘trailers’ have surfaced, including one with Amanda Seyfried and Garrett Hedlund but excited fans will be disappointed to learn that the movie has not been cast yet.

The National Board Of Review Awards took place last night (January 8, 2013), with many evidently viewing the bash as a warm-up before the Oscar nominations get announced tomorrow (January 10, 2013). As such, some of the names who may well be featuring in less than 24 hours time were on the red carpet, including Skyfall's Daniel Craig, Argo director and actor Ben Affleck, stars from Les Miserables including Anne Hathaway and Amanda Seyfried, and many more.

We could hardly bring ourselves to visit Russell Crowe's Twitter page when first hearing that he'd responded to Adam Lambert's criticism of Les Miserables. We assumed the boisterous Australian would take apart the former American Idol star inch-by-inch, so imagine our surprise when the actor appeared to agree with Lambert.

The singer had initially taken to Twitter after seeing the film, telling his two million followers, "Les Mis: Visually impressive w great Emotional performances. But the score suffered massively with great actors PRETENDING to be singers." In fact, his thoughts on the movie mirrored those of the critics, who gave the film generally positive reviews, though nothing out of the ordinary. Lambert added, "I do think it was cool they were singing live - but with that cast, they should have studio recorded and sweetened the vocals.The industry will say 'these actors were so brave to attempt singing this score live' but why not cast actors who could actually sound good?" Hugh Jackman and Amanda Seyfried have singing experience, though the likes of Crowe and Anne Hathaway were effectively debuting their singing voices for the first time. Crowe, who plays Javert in the epic based on Victor Hugo's novel, tweeted in response, "I don't disagree with Adam. Sure it could have been sweetened, Tom Hooper wanted it raw and real, that's how it is." MASSIVE anti-climax.

Les Miserables - described by Rolling Stones' Peter Travers as "perfectly marvellous" - is likely to score numerous Oscar nominations in the January 10 announcement.

Seems as though the Les Miserables cast got closer than we thought! Speaking on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno last week, Hugh Jackman revealed how he gave Amanda Seyfried a birthday lap dance!

"I don't know if you had heard, but I had done one for Barbara Walters all those years ago.Very steamy," he told Leno, "It had been a while and I had promised never to do it again, but Amanda's birthday was the night of one of the premieres for the movie in New York, so I was singing her 'Happy Birthday." Can you guess where this is going? Yep, Jackman opted to bust out some of his Tony award winning dance moves, "Really, she's the naughtiest, cheekiest girl," he said. Seyfried had already told E! News that she barely remembers the dance, though Jackman confirmed he "started grinding it out for her", adding, "She seemed happier, I don't know."

The Australian star received a Golden Globe nomination last week, describing it as "the best 5.45am wakeup call I've had in all my life." The veteran theater actor told Ellen DeGeneres "Immediately after I found out I went back to sleep and actually had the best two hours from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. I've ever had in my life."

Hugh Jackman has had a good week, or at least a good day, as he got nominated for a Golden Globe and received his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday.

The Aussie actor just recently premiered his new film, the screen adaptation of Les Miserables (it’s pretty good, we hear) and is already being touted for an Oscar nomination for his portrayal of Jean Valjean. Can you tell we’re in the midst of award season by now? A star on the Walk of Fame is a pretty big deal, your name written in stone in downtown Hollywood and all, but Jackman accepted it with the traditional modesty "This is quite a ride... It's a surreal experience. I'm a kid from the suburb of Barunga, on the northern side of Sydney... This is completely surreal," he said, quoted by AFP.

The 44-year-old actor accepted the honor in the company of his Les Mis co-stars Amanda Seyfried and Anne Hathaway, as well as his wife and two children. He joked about using the award plate as a parenting technique: “Say 10 years from now, when they're remembering all the things I did wrong, it's gonna save a fortune in therapy - they can come here, graffiti it, stomp on it, spill their soda on it, whatever.” Interesting idea, to be sure, but perhaps those therapy sessions would be more effective after all.

Props to the main stars of Les Miserables, they're putting in the effort on the film's run of premieres. Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman and the rest of the cast were all out in force again at the New York City premiere of the novel adaptation less than a week after they'd ran the red carpet gamut in London. Anne Hathaway is back on the town and back to her stylish self after undergoing a massive transformation for her latest role as Fantine in Les Miserables, having been spotted around the nightspots of London shortly after arriving in the city.

Hathaway has made a series of appearances in the English capital since she flew in to promote the new film earlier this week, and it looks as though the actress was more than happy to finally be back on the town following her rigorous weigh-loss campaign for her role in Les Miserables. The actress dropped a further 25lbs from her already slim figure to get ready for her dramatic role as the Fantine, which involves her having to sell her hair and body in order to survive during the French revolution.

Anne and her fellow co-stars, including Amanda Seyfried, Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman, were in the capital for the world premiere on Wednesday (Dec 5) night, with Anne out for a meal with a male friend the following night looking seriously glamourous once again. Despite having to go down to her super-slim size, the dedication may pay off come February, with bookies making her one of the favourites to take home the Best Actress Oscar next year. That said, she still has stiff competition from the likes of Jennifer Lawrence (Silver Linings Playbook) and Sally Field (Lincoln).

Awards season kicked off in earnest this week with two major critical bodies - New York Critics and the National Board of Review - both naming the Osama bin Laden raid thriller Zero Dark Thirty as their film of the year. Jessica Chastain stars in the movie, which reunites director Kathryn Bigelow with The Hurt Locker writer Mark Boal. The new trailer promises another exciting, intense military action drama.

Another major awards contender is Tom Hooper's film of the epic musical Les Miserables, with a high-powered cast including Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Eddie Redmayne and Amanda Seyfried. All of them attended the glitzy red carpet world premiere in London this week. The film opens in America on Christmas Day, and in Britain in early January.

Australian actress Emily Browning is set to take the lead role in SUCKER PUNCH, it has been revealed.

The part was set to be filled by MAMMA MIA! star Amanda Seyfried, but it seems she has now dropped out of the role.

Sucker Punch, which is helmed by WATCHMEN director Zack Synder, is described as "Alice in Wonderland with machine guns".

Zack also co-wrote the script with Steve Shibuya and work on the production is set to start in September of this year.

Emily, who was last seen in horror film The Uninvited, first hit the big screen with a leading part in LEMONY SNICKET'S A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS.

Meanwhile, Watchmen has been replaced by the new Dreamworks animation MONSTERS VS ALIENS as the film with the highest grossing weekend in the US this year.

The superhero flick clocked up $55.2 million (£39 million), compared to the $58.2 million made by the Kiefer Sutherland voiced hit.
