Amanda Seyfried 'Les Miserables' Premiere Berlin Germany

It's Oscar weekend, so the stars are converging on Los Angeles for the big night on Sunday. Returning from the premiere of her new film Lovelace at the Berlin Film Festival, Amanda Seyfried was caught by the paparazzi as she landed at the airport to support Les Miserables, which has seven nominations including Best Picture. She signed autographs as she was ushered through the arrivals hall by her aggressive security team.

The press also caught up with Jennifer Lawrence as she made her way through the Los Angeles airport. She's the favourite to win Best Actress for her role in Silver Linings Playbook and was also rushed through the arrivals hall while photographers snapped pictures. She managed to sign a few autographs along the way, and one of her minders can be seen putting her luggage in the back of her car, including a teddy bear.

Ben Affleck's Argo is the favourite to win Best Picture on Sunday night, but since he's not nominated in the directing category, it looks like either Steven Spielberg (for Lincoln) or Ang Li (Life of Pi) will take home Best Director. Sure things include Daniel Day-Lewis as Lincoln for Best Actor and Anne Hathaway as Best Supporting Actress for Les Miserables. Supporting Actor is the most difficult category to predict since all of the nominees have won before. Will it be the critical favourite Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained) or sentimental favourite Tommy Lee Jones (Lincoln)?

In other news, Wedding Crashers Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn are getting back together for The Internship, a comedy about two unemployed men who go to work at Google and struggle to fit in with their much-younger coleagues. A new trailer gives us our first glimpse of the film, which seems a bit obvious and silly, but also potentially hilarious. It arrives in cinemas this summer.

Love Is All You Need Still

Looking a bit more grown-up, Love Is All You Need is a romance starring Pierce Brosnan and Danish actress Trine Dyrholm, who meet when their children decide to get married in Italy. The trailer makes it look warm and witty, with gorgeous scenery and a classic banter-based romantic comedy plot. It opens in April.

And finally, we have a new red band trailer for Trance, Danny Boyle's new hypnosis-themed thriller with James McAvoy, Rosario Dawson and Vincent Cassel. This looks like a tour de force action romp, reteaming Boyle with Trainspotting screenwriter John Hodge for another stylish, energetic and seriously shocking odyssey. It's out next month.
