It’s no secret that actress Amanda Seyfried likes her dog, Finn. The Hollywood starlet is rarely pictured without her pooch, while her Instagram account is practically a shrine to the lovable hound.

To be perfectly honest, we don’t blame her. We have to admit, the Australian Shepherd is more than a little bit adorable and the camera does absolutely freaking love him. He’s also rather talented when it comes to balancing inanimate, and animate, objects on his head, which pretty much makes him the ideal dog for any Instagram fan to own. Who out there isn't desperate for a pet to take hilarious photos of?  Finn even appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman last summer to show off his skill. The well trained pup balanced a hamburger on his head before finally dropping it on the floor and scoffing the meat. Amanda requested a hamburger rather than a cheeseburger, dropping in that Finn is a little ‘lactose intolerant’. He’s also been photographed balancing a duckling on his head, although we hope it didn’t eat that one when he dropped it.

Amanda has admitted that she is ‘co-dependent‘ when it comes to Finn, who even has his own Twitter account and nearly 12,000 followers, which is super depressing to those of us who have nowhere near that many (despite posting really witty and entertaining tweets...promise) Maybe a dog to balance objects on would help amass a larger following.

Amanda is definitely the most devoted pet owner in Hollywood, which is quite a title to claim considering her competition. Glee actress Lea Michelle has been known to pose provocatively with her pup, Pearl, while Miley Cyrus often discusses her dogs as well as taking copious photos of them and posting them to her various social media accounts. However, none of these pooches have captured public attention in the way that Finn has, who even has a BuzzFeed dedicated to him, celebrating him as 'America's Hidden Treasure'.

We wonder if Finn has been receiving as much attention as usual over the past few months, considering that Amanda has been busy filming her latest movie A Million Ways to Die in the West? The movie, which is written and directed by Family Guy creator, Seth MacFarlane, also stars Charlize Theron, Neil Patrick Harris and Liam Neeson, and looks like it will be a rip roaring-ride through the American Old West. If Seth’s previous body of work is anything to go by it will be packed with his signature outrageous humour, although the movie isn’t due for release until May so sadly we still have a few months left to wait.  It's also been recently announced that Amanda will take over from Mila Kunis in Ted 2, sounds like she's one busy lady at the moment!  If you ever need anyone to dog sit, Amanda, we're always willing.
