Touch

Sexy and Sweet Amerie burst onto the charts back in 2002 with her debut album 'All I Have' and her US smash debt 'Why Don't We Fall In Love' which saw collaborations with Rich Harrison, in spite of this not making much impression upon the UK audience. But 3 years later a hotter and bolder Amerie has the whole world in suspense for her second album 'Touch' after the bliss hit 'One Thing'.

The summer smash 'One Thing inevitably kicks off Amerie's second album 'Touch' launching the striking singer with a CD that has hit after hit which is rare in today's times. Amerie has joined forces once again with Rich Harrison however introducing beats this time around with bigger names than before Lil' Jon, Dre and Vidal and Bryce Wilson and such stars as Carl Thomas and Eve.

However Amerie reminds us of the summer sound throughout the album 'Touch' 'All I Need, 'Touch' 'Not The Only One' and especially on 'Talking About' infuses the sound of carnivals and BBQ's with the unlimited supply of hammering drums and expressive horns. The mid-tempo sound flows through the album 'Just Like Me', 'Falling' and 'Rolling Down My Face' is laced with wistful vocals set upon irresistible rhythms.

This fruitful fusion that Amerie brings to the record makes every track a masterpiece of modern R'n'B.
