Amy Adams has described her collaboration with Italian fashion house Max Mara as ''wonderful''.
Amy Adams is a huge fan of Max Mara.
The 'American Hustle' actress - who was unveiled as the face of the Italian fashion group's latest collection of accessories on Wednesday (15.07.14) - has admired the brand for years and described their collaboration as ''wonderful''.
She told Access Hollywood: ''It's very fun. It's a brand that I have followed for many years, I've been a big admirer and wearer of it, so I think it is wonderful.
''It feels very natural and seamless.''
The stunning brunette - who was photographed by Mario Sorrenti and is pictured in the campaign carrying Max Mara's 'Signature Bag' and wearing the season's new eyewear - has replaced fellow actress Jennifer Garner as face of the popular brand.
The 39-year-old star is grateful to the team behind the shoot for treating her as an actress, which helped her to feel comfortable on set.
She explained: ''Well what was wonderful with this team they had an inspiration board, they knew the mood they wanted and what they were looking for and communicated it to me as an actress.
''So even though I accomplished something as a model, I still left like an actress bringing a character to the photo shoot.
''They were wonderful about that.''
The President of the group's public relations and communications, Giorgio Guidotti, believes including successful Hollywood stars in their ad campaigns has given Max Mara a new ''timeless'' image.
He told WWD: ''Jennifer Garner was the first celebrity we worked with [on the accessories campaigns] and the feedback we received was excellent both in terms of sell-in and sell-out, and in terms of credibility.
''This new step is a sign of continuity. The claim is the same, 'Timeless is now.' These are timeless actresses, not associated to a scoop of the moment.''
