Amy Adams Reportedly Marries Partner Of 14 Years, Darren Le Gallo, In Secret Ceremony

Amy Adams and her partner of more than 14 years are married! The couple reportedly tied the knot in a small ceremony in California on Saturday (2nd May). They said their vows in a secret ceremony which was attended by a select few of their family and close friends. Also in attendance was their four-year-old daughter, Aviana, according to reports in E!.

Amy Adams and Darren Le Gallo have reportedly tied the knot.

The 40-year-old actress and Le Gallo have been dating since 2001 when they met in an acting class. Le Gallo is an actor and also an artist who keeps a studio at his and Adams' shared home in the Hollywood Hills. They became engaged in 2008 and two years later Adams gave birth to their daughter, Aviana.

The couple were engaged for eight years but their schedules have been so hectic, reports suggest, that there simply hasn't been the chance. Adams partially confirmed she was in no rush to head down the aisle in an interview with Vanity Fair in 2013.

"I'm not pregnant. I'm not getting married anytime soon," Adams said in the interview.

Adams also explained how some people were confused with the dynamics of their relationship and that, even in 2013, she had to field questions about the seeming lack of 'tradition' in their roles. Adams recalled how she shocked one woman whilst on a business trip when she revealed that Le Gallo was caring for their child. However, Adams was filled with nothing but praise for her partner.

"I know he's completely capable and lovely, and beautiful, and offers something I could never hope to offer just in the nature of his being," Adams said in the interview.
