Among Ravens Trailer

Every year, a group of old friends get together for a July 4th weekend vacation, but this year things seem a little more awkward than usual. There's plenty of tension in the air as Wendy Conifer is joined by her current husband Ellis and her ex Saul, as well her daughter Joey. Also among the party are Saul's struggling ghost writer Will who has a drinking problem, Saul's wife Emma who happens to be having an affair with Will and Wendy's life coach buddy Hal. It's difficult for everyone to remain civil during their time together; even group activities such as golf, hiking and boating doesn't distract from the steadily building animosity. Unfortunately, it seems to be rubbing off the most on young Joey, who seeks comfort in the form of the group's new addition; a nature filmmaker named Chad. Can a new face help rebuild the souring relationships between them? Joey certainly hopes so.

Tyler Perry's The Single Mom's Club Trailer

Feeling underappreciated and frequently undermined, many single mothers have to go through a lot to keep their children happy and to make sure they have as normal a life as possible. However, no matter how hard one might try, sometimes the children will inevitably get themselves into trouble and when five mothers of very different backgrounds are called into school when their offspring are found vandalising the school, they are forced to work together to organise and chair the upcoming annual fundraiser. The parents soon find, however, that they have much more in common than they initially thought and decide to set up a support group for desperate single mothers going through similar experiences. With new people there for each other, they help one another to find love again and get their confused and hectic lives back on track.

Video - Amy Smart Thinks Two Sprays Is Enough

'The Butterfly Effect' actress Amy Smart is cornered by photographers who ask about wearing perfume whilst she wanders through Beverly Hills. When asked how much perfume a woman should wear, Smart replies, 'Two sprays and that's it' but she becomes a little bemused by the conversation as one photographer continues to ask how and where is the right place to apply it. Smart manages to escape into a nearby clothes store and the paparazzi leave her when she tells them that she applies perfume all over.

Smart, 36, is set to star in the upcoming dark comedy 'An Unkindess of Ravens' alongside Joshua Leonard

Flight 7500 is a plane flying from Los Angeles to Japan, a trip that should take approximately ten hours. Of the many people who board the flight, one is a cocky student who debunks the idea that electronic devices should be turned off during a flight; and one is a couple whose only hand luggage is a mysterious wooden box.

Peaceful Warrior Review

Good
Evidently, as things like yoga, alternative medicine, and meditation become more accepted by the mainstream, it creates a market of films for the new-agey niche. And that is likely just the audience for Peaceful Warrior, a feel-good, anything's-possible film version of Dan Millman's autobiographical-motivational-self help bestseller, modestly titled Way of the Peaceful Warrior: A Book that Changes Lives.

Scott Mechlowicz plays Dan (which, sure; if an actor is playing you, you definitely want it to be the guy who is a dead ringer for Brad Pitt, only 20 years younger), a hotshot gymnast at Berkeley who is unhappy, despite being a star athlete with great grades and an endless stream of eager co-eds. One middle-of-the-night, Dan happens upon a full-service gas station manned by the gruff-voiced, mysterious Socrates (Nick Nolte), a man who speaks only in platitudes and riddles and seems capable of the impossible.

Road Trip Review

Very Good
Tom Green might say: Road Trip is the greatest movie of all time.

He'd be right. If you're a 15-year old boy.

Scotland, PA Review

Excellent
Fueled by gritty Bad Company songs, enough plaid to keep all residents of Alaska warm for winter, and Pabst Blue Ribbon on tap - Scotland, PA blasts onto the silver screen with the reckless intent of Patty Hearst during a bank robbery.

The last place I'd expect to see a Shakespearean adaptation of Macbeth to occur would be in a backwater town in the middle of Pennsylvania circa 1972. But it provides a dark and menacing backdrop to this loose - and do I mean loose - adaptation of Shakespeare's ever-popular tragedy of a incompetent husband and power-hungry wife weaving murderously toward power and riches.

The Butterfly Effect Review

Weak

In Spike Jonze and Charlie Kaufman's ingeniously idiosyncratic showbiz semi-farce "Adaptation" there is a running gag about a typically bogus Hollywood-thriller screenplay called "The 3," in which a preposterous, nonsensical twist ending reveals the three main characters to be different personalities in a schizophrenic's mind.

In this week's "The Butterfly Effect," a superficially chilling high-concept horror movie full of paradox-packed time-loop contortions, the entire plot depends on just such cursory twists, none of which stand up to much intellectual scrutiny.

Stoner-comedy staple Ashton Kutcher -- who, like a young Keanu Reeves, is hard to take seriously in any non-stoner role -- stars as Evan Treborn, a double-psychology major (snicker, snicker) working on an memory assimilation thesis inspired by blackouts he suffered as a child during several traumatic events.

Rat Race Review

Weak

After a generation on hiatus, the crazy, ensemble-cast chase comedy is back with an MTV vengeance in "Rat Race," a cornball marathon between a dozen second-tier stars vying for a $2 million booty.

The gimmick: To entertain his high-rolling clientele, a Las Vegas hotelier -- played by John Cleese with a slightly insane, toothy-dentured grin -- recruits an oddball assortment of zealous casino tourists to dash across the desert to New Mexico in search of a bus station locker where the loot has been stashed. The runners think it's all a zany promotion for Cleese's resort, but in the penthouse billionaires from all over the world are placing high-stakes bets on who will get there first, just for rich-guy kicks.

The players: Jon Lovitz is an chintzy, unemployed soccer dad who red-lines his minivan while dragging his family along, on the pretense of a job offer so he doesn't get chewed out for ruining their vacation. He catches hell anyway when the car breaks down outside a "white power" roadside attraction and they steal Hitler's limo to complete the pilgrimage.
