Andrea Bocelli tied the knot with his long-term partner Veronica Berti last week after being in a relationship with her for 12 years.
Andrea Bocelli has married his long-term partner Veronica Berti.
The Italian opera singer - who was blinded at the age of 12 - tied the knot with Veronica before friends and family in an intimate wedding ceremony at the Sanctuary of Montenero in Livorno, Italy, last Friday (21.03.14).
Bocelli had been in a relationship with Veronica for 12 years and it's thought they chose the date to coincide with the birthday of their two-year-old daughter Virginia.
The couple were cheered on by locals as they left the ceremony before driving away in a classic car for a lavish reception at Bocelli's villa in Forte dei Marmi, near Pisa.
Among the guests were Bocelli's sons Amos and Matteo from his previous marriage to first wife Enrica, whom he separated from in 2002.
The nuptials follow Bocelli's announcement that he will be embarking on a four date tour of the UK and Ireland in November.
The tenor singer will be accompanied by Veronica and Virginia for the dates and is set to perform romantic songs from his latest album 'Passione'.
