SIR Andrew Lloyd Webber is considering a move to the US in a bid to find a new Broadway star. The music impresario hopes to follow the success his British reality TV show How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? - which found a young hopeful to star in the London production of The Sound Of Music - and has been inundated with offers from television makers to make a similar show Stateside. He says, "I've told them I'll think about it, but only if it was in New York. Broadway is the heart of theatre in America." Lord Lloyd-Webber would love to find a star for his musical Jesus Christ Superstar, but says British TV bosses wouldn't approve, adding, "I'd love to do a search for Jesus, but the BBC couldn't do that. It's probably against editorial policy." Lord Lloyd-Webber is currently looking for Joseph to star in the West End production of Joseph And The Technicolour Dreamcoat in BBC show Any Dream Will Do.
