Dawn of the Planet of the Apes opened in US theatres this past weekend and immediately stormed to the top of the box office chart, taking over $73million. Really, this should come as no surprise as the film has earned almost universal praise from critics and currently holds an impressive 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
