Anna Faris and Chris Pratt are expecting their first child together, People magazine have announced. The 35 year-old star of The DICtator married her husband Chris Pratt in 2009, after they had met two years earlier, on the set of Take Me Home Tonight. They have been open about their plans to start a large family, though admitted that a life in show-business made the timing difficult, saying it's "so hard in this industry."
Faris and Pratt, 32, are expecting their first child to arrive in the autumn, Anna's representative told People magazine. Chris is currently filming Zero Dark Thirty, the movie directed by Kathryn Bigelow and also starring Jessica Chastain and Joel Edgerton. He is perhaps best known for playing the role of the dim-witted Andy Dwyer in the NBC series Parks and Recreation. In September 2012, he will also be appearing in Ten Year, alongside Channing Tatum, though he may have to put the red carpet premieres on hold, depending on Anna's due date, which has not been confirmed yet.
Anna herself is also currently filming in London. She's working on I Give It A Year, alongside Rose Byrne and Simon Baker, scheduled for release in 2013. Next week, the DICtator opens in cinemas. Faris stars in the controversial comedy alongside Sacha Baron Cohen, Megan Fox and BEN KINGSLEY.
