Kanye West’s new video for ‘Famous’ might just be his most controversial and thought-provoking work yet. Visuals from the video premiered on Friday night and fans watching live on Tidal couldn't believe their eyes, as uncanny likenesses of celebs including Taylor Swift, Amber Rose, Bill Cosby and Caitlyn Jenner all appeared on screen completely naked.

Introducing the video West told the crowd: "I wanna thank Eli first of all who was in the project every day …I don't wanna give away how it all happened. I wanna thank all my family, my wife, and y'all supporting ideas and truth. I got one question though. Would you like me to play that back?”

Kim Kardashian has revealed an image capturing the best day of her life. Was it the moment husband-to-be, Kanye West, got down on one knee and presented her with a diamond the size of a small country? Or was it the day she gave birth to her beautiful baby daughter, North West, affectionately nicknamed ‘Nori’? Erm, well, no. It wasn’t either of these days, which most people would consider to be among the best days in their lives.

So, what was it then? In an Instagram post, along with the hashtag #TBT (for non-Instagrammers this means ‘Throw Back Thursday,’ when you post an old picture) Kim released an image of her sat, with Nori on her lap, while she animatedly chats to US Vogue editor, the globally revered Anna Wintour. Anna seems to actually be enjoying whatever it is that Kim has to say, while the pair enjoy cappuccinos and a spot of food at what has been speculated to be the Mercer hotel lobby in New York City. Wintour wears her signature sunglasses, while Kim looks sophisticated in an oversized camel coloured coat. Nori gazes at the camera, clearly unimpressed that she is sat with the most powerful fashionista in the world.

Naomi Campbell hasn't so much waded as daintily picked her way into the ongoing debate over Kim Kardashian and Kanye West being featured on the cover of Vogue. The fashion magazine's choice to feature the reality television star and her rapper fiancé on its cover had been met with a mixture of applause and derision from around the world.

Vogue editor Anna Wintour made sure to shoot down the rumours that Kanye had bought their way on to her magazine's cover, by stating in no uncertain terms in her cover letter that this was not the case. "My opinion is that [the cover] is both charming and touching, and it was, I should add, entirely our idea to do it; you may have read that Kanye begged me to put his fiancée on Vogue's cover," wrote the 64 year-old editor-in-chief.

Lena Dunham is gracing the cover of February's issue of US Vogue, but it seems not everybody is happy with the finished product. Feminist blog jezebel.com are offering the hefty sum of $10,000 to anyone who can provided the 'unretouched' photos from Duham's shoot.

The blog describes Dunham as "a woman who trumpets body positivity, who's unabashedly feminist, who has said that her naked body is "a realistic expression of what it's like to be alive"." However, they are less than satisfied with the pictures of the Girls star inside the magazine, saying, "her body is real. She is real. And for as lovely as the Vogue pictures are, they're probably not terribly real."

The much beloved by filmmakers, designers and artists alike Tilda Swinton was honored with a gala event at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The specially scheduled evening coincided with Swinton’s 53rd birthday and boasted a guest list of some of the most revered contemporary creators and friends of the actress. Swinton, who participated in a curious and completely out-of-the-blue performance art piece at the MoMA earlier this year, expressed her gratitude to the museum for the tribute.

“It’s my birthday!” Swinton told The Hollywood Reporter of the cleverly scheduled event in New York. “MoMA is giving me a birthday party, and they’ve invited some of my great friends, so I’m very happy and very grateful.”

While the ethereal actress remained modest throughout, there were plenty of others willing and eager to sing her praises. “I admire the ease and the grace in which she carries her talent,” Ralph Fiennes, event co-chair and Swinton’s co-star in The Grand Budapest Hotel, said of the actress. “She’s a great actress, but it’s her quality of person herself, her soul – it’s her that I think is unique. It shines through in a way that’s very rare.”

Miley Cyrus should have heeded one of the all-important rules in life - don't mess with Anna Wintour. It's like, respect your elders, don't steal...or something, and please for god's sake don't mess with Anna Wintour. Anna Wintour is the editor of Vogue.

Anyway, it seems Miley's little stunt at the MTV Video Music Awards has cost her a coveted spot on the cover of Wintour's fashion bible. It's probably not something that the 20-year-old needed particularly, but it's well and truly a gig that Cyrus could have done with after the twerking debacle.

It was that bizarre performance that has apparently got Miley cut from the forthcoming December issue of the magazine. According to the UK's Daily Mail - who have the scoop on this - the icy editor changed her mind about having Cyrus on the cover after her overly sexualized routine at the MTV event.

Would Burberry have wanted Scottish tennis ace Andy Murray wandering down their red carpet at London Fashion Week had he not recently become US Open Champion? We have our doubts, though the 25-year-old seemed happy enough with the invite as he and girlfriend Kim Sears rubbed shoulders with fashion’s elite this week.

Murray was actually given front row seats next to US Vogue editor and generally terrifying fashion person Anna Wintour, though he did seem a little uncomfortable. Elsewhere, Olympic gold medal cyclist Victoria Pendleton also attended the show, and was sure to insist that her front row seat was definitely not the product of her recent success, telling the Metro newspaper, “I’ve wanted so long to come to an event at fashion week, and Burberry have asked me for a couple of seasons and I’ve been so busy training that I had to say no.” Finishing off the all-star front row at the event in Kensington was hotshot American film producer Harvey Weinstein, ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ actor Dev Patel and One Direction singer Harry Styles.

London’s five-day fashion extravaganza comes to an end on Tuesday (September 18th) with shows from the likes of Mulberry and Simone Rocha.
