AnnaSophia Robb says playing young Carrie Bradshaw has turned her into a fashionista.
The 19-year-old actress admits landing the coveted lead in the new 'Sex and the City' prequel 'The Carrie Diaries' has enabled her experiment with styles and have fun with her clothes to emulate her alter ego's famously eclectic dress sense.
She explained: ''Yeah, I love thrift shopping. I'd say it's changed and I'm starting to care a lot more about fashion these days, not actually worrying about what I'm wearing but having fun with it. It's an expression of yourself.''
Although the curly-haired starlet had never watched the show before, she has been ploughing through the boxsets and thinks man-hating lawyer Miranda Hobbes is the best character in the original show.
AnnaSophia said: ''It depends, I think Carrie is a combination of all the girls and so I think that's what makes her the most relatable but I really like Miranda a lot and I think I get the biggest kick out of her.
''Just the ways she reacts to things and the fact that she's always wearing sweats and these really strange ensembles in the show.''
