Anne Hathaway, 29, shows off a stunning VALENTINO gown on the red carpet and is set to have the fashion house’s legendary founder, Valentino Garavani create her wedding dress for her upcoming nuptials.

The Les Miserables actress is set to marry her The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning actor fiancé Adam Shulman after being together for four years and who better to design her wedding gown than her close friend Valentino? She appeared on the red carpet at the Lincoln Center for New York City Ballet’s Annual Fall Gala in a floor-length, sheer floral dress; high-necked with a train, billowing sleeves and dangerously see-through, it’s safe to say this beauty looked nothing short of feminine despite her cropped locks.

80-year-old Valentino, who has come out of retirement after just four years and was honored at the Gala, spoke to E! Online about his affection for Hathaway. “She’s a very good friend of mine. She’s like my daughter!” he said. He definitely seems keen to help out at her wedding, but she has previously expressed that she doesn’t expect to tie the knot until 2013. “We’re getting married, probably sometime next year-ish. Not this year, it’s too big with two films coming out,” she has reportedly said.
