Filmmaker Antoine Fuqua Is In Talks To Move To The Small Screen To Take Charge Of A Tv Adaptation Of Bestselling British Author Andy Mcnab's Action Series.
Executives at movie mogul Harvey Weinstein's production firm, The Weinstein Company, have emerged as the favourites to win the screen rights to MCNab's Nick Stone Missions series, which revolves around the titular former British Army Special Air Service agent, and now Fuqua has been tapped to direct the pilot.
The Training Day moviemaker is also expected to sign on as executive producer.
MCNab, real name Steven Mitchell, has written 16 Stone novels to date. The latest book, For Valour, was released last year (14).
