Sharon Stone and Mallika Sherawat have denied they are romantically involved with Antonio Banderas following his split from his wife of 18 years, Melanie Griffiths. Meanwhile Griffiths was snapped enjoying a dinner in Rome last week with Matt Dillon.
Rumours surrounding Antonio Banderas and soon-to-be ex-wife Melanie Griffith's love life have run amuck in the weeks following the announcement of their separation. Sharon Stone and Bollywood star Mallika Sherawat have denied reports they are dating the Spanish actor. Whilst Griffiths has been hiding her 'Antonio' tattoo and has been spotted dining with Matt Dillon.
The couple announced their split earlier this month.
Sherawat was spotted in Cannes two years ago dancing with Banderas and sources speaking to Radar claim the pair later went on holiday together. The actress has become embroiled in the couple of 18 years split and has been cited by one of the reasons why they separated.
Nickelodeon & Paramount pictures have announced a new SpongeBob Squarepants film, 'The SpongeBob Squarepants Movie: Sponge Out Of Water', which will be released in early 2015.
The Spongebob Squarepants Movie: Sponge Out Of Water storyline is yet to be revealed, but with SpongeBob villain Plankton set to play a part, one can assume an evil plot will have to be foiled once again and given the film's title, it's safe to say that SpongeBob will face a case of land sickness as he journeys out of the water and onto firmer terrain.
Just like the first film, SpongeBob Squarepants 2 will feature the same voice cast to portray the characters as the television show including Tom Kenny as SpongeBob and Bill Fagerbakke as Patrick Star. As might be expected with a potential blockbuster release, there will be a few famous names making an appearance as well, Antonio Banderas will play a pirate in both live action parts of the film as well as animated parts. Ex-Guns N Roses guitarist, Slash is also set to appear in the film, although his role has yet to be announced. Could a SpongeBob and Slash duet be on the cards?
The film will be directed and screen written by Paul Tibbitt, who was a writer for the television series from 1999 until 2004. He then became supervising producer for the show in 2005 as well as executive producer in 2007, both positions he still maintains. Tibbitt was also screenwriter and storyboard artist for the 2004 release of 'The SpongeBob Squarepants Movie', however this will be his first time as a director. Given how involved Tibbitt has been with the franchise over the years, fans should be confident he can pull off directing the film.
Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas are sadly splitting after nearly 20 years of marriage. What went wrong for one of Hollywood's longest-running couples?
Power couple Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith, the beacon of hope and an icon of longevity when it come to Hollywood relationships, have split after nearly 19 years together. The news has shocked fans who had always believed that the couple were still happy together in their long marriage, particularly since their affectionate displays just earlier this year. The couple released a joint statement, explaining: “We have thoughtfully and consensually decided to finalise our 20 years’ marriage in a loving and friendly manner, honouring and respecting each other, our family and friends and the beautiful time we have spent together.”
Couples were shocked to hear that Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas, pictured holding hands in March, were divorcing
Banderas and Griffith met on the set on their 1995 romantic-comedy film Two Much. At the time he was married to Ana Leza, whom he had wed in 1987. The marriage ended when he and Griffith began a relationship and he divorced Leza in 1996, marrying Griffiths in a small, private ceremony in London just a month later. The pair have a 17-year-old daughter called Stella together, while Griffiths has two older children from previous relationships.
Melanie Griffiths and Antonio Banderas are divorcing after 18 seemingly happy years together. The couple's separation was uncovered by a US entertainment website on Friday (6th June).
Cue the unpleasant tattoo removal! Melanie Griffiths and Antonio Banderas are divorcing and Griffith's heart tattoo of Antonio's name will certainly need to go. Just remember the unfortunate Winona Rider-Johnny Depp 'Wino Forever' debacle. But, besides Griffiths' lack of foresight, why are the couple separating?
Melanie Griffiths and Antonio Banderas are divorcing after 18 years of marriage.
Sources speaking to TMZ, who first broke the news, claim the divorce is amicable. However, Griffiths filed the paperwork and the documents cite irreconcilable differences as the reason for their separation. The 56-year-old actress is also asking for spousal support and joint custody of their daughter Stella. Fortunately, should proceedings take a turn for the worst, custody won't be an issue for long as Stella turns 18 in September. The separation of property may cause some problems as the couple have numerous homes both in the US and in Banderas' native Spain.

'Black Nativity' Forest Whitaker arrived with his wife Keisha Nash Whitaker and daughter Sonnet Whitaker at the movie's New York premiere held at the Apollo Theater. 'Working Girl' actress Melanie Griffith and husband 'Desperado' star Antonio Banderas were also spotted at the event.
Robert Rodriguez returns to Grindhouse territory with this B-movie spoof sequel that mixes hilariously knowing jokes with painfully stiff storytelling. Fans of the genre will love it, but those expecting a sense of narrative momentum will find themselves bored when the plot stalls about halfway in. And the rampant misogynistic smirking should be too much for anyone.
After the events of the 2010 original (which itself was based on a mock-trailer from 2007's Grindhouse double bill), the former Mexican agent Machete (Trejo) has been secretly working with US Immigration. After a bust goes badly wrong, he is assigned by the US President (Sheen, performing under his birth-name Carlos Estevez) to capture psychotic drug kingpin Mendez (Bichir) in Mexico. Working with his beauty-queen contact (Heard), he heads into the danger zone pursued by the master-of-disguise Camaleon and immediately running afoul of a vindictive brothel madame (Vergara). Along the way he discovers that the real villain is a defence contractor (Gibson) back in America, so he asks his former partner-in-crime (Michelle Rodriguez) for some help.
Every scene overflows with hyper-violent action and near-naked babes with guns. And the fast-paced mayhem is frequently played out as wacky slapstick, with movie in-jokes and a general sense of chaos. Aside from the amusingly straight-faced Trejo, the actors play everything for laughs. Gibson chomps mercilessly on the scenery during his overlong scenes, while Sheen plays with his own personal history while winking knowingly to the camera. There's also a continuous parade of A-list cameos, including Gaga, Gooding and Banderas hamming up their silly scenes for all they're worth.

Filming has begun in Bulgaria for the third instalment in the all-out act action thrill-fest, 'The Expendables 3' - no Bruce Willis needed.
With the release date set for this time next year, only a few official details of the upcoming action sequel The Expendables 3 have been confirmed so far leaving the rest to gossip. At this stage though, it's safe to say that Nicolas Cage won't play a baddie in third in the series, but the actor has not publically ruled out any future Expendables action, meaning fans who want to see a Sly/Cage face-off can remain hopeful.
Sylvester Rocks Up For Some Filming.
Stallone and Lionsgate have confirmed some key details regarding the cast members and the bones of the plotline so brace yourself. Mickey Rourke, Chuck Norris and Bruce Willis will no longer feature in The Expendables, with the latter having being booted off the film recently after an argument with Sly. This means the bellicose band of baddie-bashing bruisers will comprise of Stallone (duh), Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, and Terry Crews.
Justin and the Knights of Valour will attempt to break a challenging and competitive animation market for 2013.
It’s been a pretty solid year for animated features so far; Wreck it Ralph, Despicable Me 2 and Monsters University all performed solidly with the critics and in the box office. But it hasn’t been all plain sailing – films like Turbo and Escape From Planet Earth haven’t gone down too well.
Can Justin, voiced by Highmore, learn the ways of the Knight?
There was a time when all animated films were basically the best films ever: Ratatouille, Finding Nemo, Toy Story(s), Up – but now there seems to be room for some pretty average efforts. Striking up some cute characters with big eyes, pitting them against a baddie and creating a weird little fella for comic relief just doesn’t cut it anymore.
Justin is an average boy with big dreams living in a Kingdom where the Queen has enlisted lawyers instead of knights. However, Justin wants more than anything in the world to become one the latter, just like his deceased grandfather Sir Roland. He must embark on a quest to train to become the best knight he can and on the way meets his three mentors, Blucher, Legantir and Braulio, a wacky wizard named Melquiades and the very beautiful Talia. Sooner than he'd hoped, he finds his first challenge; Sir Heraclio and his sidekick Sota are attempting to raise an army to defeat the Kingdom, leaving Heraclio crowned king. Justin must protect the Kingdom he was brought up in and, in doing so, purloin his grandfather's old sword from Heraclio's clutches.

Robert Rodriguez's Machete sequel looks, err, interesting.
The trailer has finally been released for Robert Rodriguez's latest action movie: a sequel to 2010's cult-favourite Machete.
The director, who is also responsible for box office hits Sin City and Once Upon a Time in Mexico, hypes his latest follow-up by comparing it to previous successful action series: "We've given the character a much bigger playground. It's going to be like a James Bond movie, with a Bond-style villain", he said, talking to screenrant.com.
Watch the Machete Kills Trailer:
Reloaded for a second instalment that we'll have to wait for until its September release, the trailer tantalises the action-hungry filmgoer, with guns, grit, and girl-on-girl violence. Not to mention the promise of flaming vehicular explosions, over-the-top weaponry, and blistering clichéd one-liners only a blockbuster can deliver.

We've all had that moment; looking at photos of our favourite celebs and then jumping out of our seats screaming, 'He's HOW old?!' Well, we've been doing a lot of that here at ContactMusic. Some stars seem to have crept up the age ladder pretty sneakily, the odd wrinkle and grey hair barely registering on our radar, while others don't seem to have aged at all! English football player David Beckham was in his twenties when he rose to global popularity and, looking at his recent H&M underwear advert, it seems that his iconic hairstyles and tattoos are our only way of working out the old from the newer pictures of him. However, he is only 37 and has plenty of time to catch up yet. It's the over-50s that have really had our mouths agape in recent times as we've been scouring the net for the most youthful looking middle to old aged stars.

Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed how she would love to have another child, though fears she may be too old at 40. In the latest issue of InStyle magazine, Paltrow told good friend Diane Von Furstenberg, "My brain says, 'Oh I think I'm done, the kids are big now and I don't want to go back to changing diapers.' But a part of me would love to have another. Of course, I'm old now!"
Paltrow certainly looks younger than her years in the accompanying photo-shoot, wearing a pink Atelier Versace dress and a black Armani gown, amongst others. She already has two children with husband Chris Martin, Apple and Moses. She recalled, "When Apple was born she had the hugest blue eyes. I looked into them and she was looking at me, and I felt like, 'You are here to teach me everything.'After Moses was born, I had postpartum depression. It was a difficult time and because of that I believe I have an extra empathy for him and he for me." The Oscar winner - who has been married to the Coldplay frontman for nine years - also discussed their often tempestuous relationship, saying, "Artists are sensitive; there are ups and downs, mood-wise. Musicians need a certain gravitas and focus in order to write." So she's basically saying Martin is one moody husband, right?
Paltrow is currently shooting the Pablo Picasso biopic 33 Dias, with Antonio Banderas and Oscar Jaenada.

'Once Upon a Time in Mexico' star Antonio Banderas signs an autograph for a fan as he gets out of his car on arriving at LAX airport with two assistants. He is snapped queuing to check in then walking through the airport on the way to board his plane.
A romantic comedy with a dark twist, this film gets under the skin as it knowingly explores both the writing process and the nature of relationships. It also gives its cast a lot to play with in scenes that feature both broad slapstick and much more serious drama.
Paul Dano stars as Calvin, a writer who struck lightning with his first novel at age 19 and hasn't been able to write anything since. His brother (Messina) teases him about his future, his agent (Mandvi) is pushing him to write a new novel, and his therapist (Gould) just wants him to write something, anything. So he starts typing up a story about the girl (Kazan) who appears in his dreams. Then there she is, Ruby Sparks, in his kitchen! Sure he's officially losing his mind, he's shocked to discover that others can see her too. So he brings her into his life as his girlfriend, even introducing her to his hippie mother and stepdad (Benning and Banderas).
The film starts out as a breezy comedy, and Dano plays these scenes for laughs, including several broadly silly set-pieces as Calvin first meets Ruby. But the undertone very quickly starts turning serious, as we begin to understand the central themes about how we relate to our partners. Would we control their behaviour if we could? Get rid of annoying habits? Make them be more like our idea of the perfect spouse? But of course, that would cause a whole new set of problems.

Ruby Sparks tells the story of a successful young novelist who starts to suffer from writer's block. Eventually, though, Calvin makes a huge development and invents Ruby Sparks; a beautiful, red-headed female character who he begins to fall madly in love with - despite her being a figment his imagination. or so he thinks. A week later he finds her casually sprawled on his couch and although Calvin tries to pass her off as the hallucinations of an over-active imagination, it soon becomes clear that his words have manifested themselves into a real-life person. More accurately, a real-life love interest.
