The Amazing Spider-Man actor Andrew Garfield stars in the video for Arcade Fire's We Exist, the third single to be taken from the band's third album Reflektor. Directed by David Wilson, it was partly shot at last month's Coachella Music Festival and sees Garfield in a bra. And a wig.

The clip stars off in a rather melancholy fashion, with Garfield weeping as he shaves his head. As the sun rises, the actor heads down to a local bar where he's propositioned by a couple of guys. After heading over to the dance-floor, Garfield gets a bit of a beating, but when he's encouraged to walk through a psychedelic style tunnel, he suddenly finds himself in the crowd at an Arcade Fire show. He then jumps on-stage and really goes for it. It's about empowerment, we think.

However, it also works really well with Winn Butler's lyrics. The frontman described the track as "about a gay kid talking to his dad" and coming out to his straight father. Butler intro the song at Coachella last month by saying, "The right to marry anyone you want is a human rights issue."

Garfield is having a pretty good year. His movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2 performed pretty strongly at the box-office and he's already confirmed for the third movie, and the fourth. He's about to begin work on the promising looking historical drama 'Silence', set in the seventeenth century and following the story of two Jesuit priests who face violence and persuction when they travel to Japan to locate their mentor and to spread the gospel of Christianity. It co-stars Liam Neeson and Adam Driver and is set for 2015.
