Rockers The Arctic Monkeys Have Been Named The Best Live Act Of The Year At The 40th Annual Silver Clef Awards In London.
A joint statement from the band reads: "Thanks to everyone who voted for us and helped us win this year's Nordoff Robbins Best Live Act Award at the O2 Silver Clefs. It's a real honour to be chosen."
They join the likes of Justin Timberlake, One Direction and Sir Paul MCCartney among the past recipients of the honour.
Other winners, who will be awarded top accolades at the Grosvenor House hotel on Friday (03Jul15), include Kasabian (Royal Albert Hall Best Group), Rita Ora (Vevo Best Female), Jake Bugg (AEG Live Best Male) and James Bay (Jack Daniel's Best Newcomer), while Duran Duran will be honoured with the Spotify Lifetime Achievement award, producer Mark Ronson will be handed the American Express Innovation trophy, and heavy rockers Iron Maiden will be presented with the 2015 Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef Award for Outstanding Contribution to U.K. Music.
Gladys Knight, Primal Scream and Il Divo will also be honoured at the glitzy Nordoff Robbins luncheon.
