Soul Queen Aretha Franklin Is At The Centre Of A New Legal Battle Over Condominium Fees.
The singer is being sued over alleged unpaid homeowner fees.
Officials at the Hills of Lone Pine Association claim they are owed more than $11,500 (£7,200).
Sources tell the Detroit News the association has filed a lawsuit in an attempt to foreclose on the Queen of Soul's gated home in Bloomfield Hills.
Franklin tells the newspaper she owns the condo but does not live there. She also claims she has been "overcharged" for years.
Her attorney is working on the dispute.
