There are many contradictory reports at the moment, some concert goers are reporting the sound of two ‘explosions’ as well as ‘flashes of light’, while others are stating that there was 'one enormous bang'.

Artists including Lady GaGa, Iggy Azalea and Ariana Grande, are uniting in support for Kesha after the latest setback in her ongoing legal battle with producer Dr. Luke. On Friday Kesha was was denied her request for a preliminary injunction that would allow her to release music without producer Dr Luke, who she has previously accused of sexual assault and emotional abuse.

Celebrities have been offering support for Kesha following her latest legal setback.

Kesha first filled suit against Dr Luke in 2014, claiming the producer had sexually assaulted her and accusing him of sexual harassment, gender violence, civil harassment and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Kesha also claimed that on occasions Dr Luke had ‘drugged’ her.

Ed Sheeran must have felt like he was dreaming on Saturday night, when he got to join Beyonce onstage at the 2015 Global Citizen Festival for a duet of her hit song ‘Drunk in Love’. Sheeran frequently covers the track but this was the first time he had performed his stripped down acoustic version with Queen Bey herself.

After a pretty torrid week or so, Ariana Grande looks like she’s off the hook in terms of criminal charges over the now notorious ‘donut gate’ incident, with reports suggesting that the pop star will not be charged with criminal mischief.

TMZ reported on Monday afternoon (July 13th) that the 22 year old singer may be in the clear after the owner of Wolfee Donuts in Lake Elsinore, California does not want to press charges. It may have something to do with the store underperforming in a public health inspection in the wake of the scandal, which the same publication reported last week.

Ariana Grande has landed herself right in it this week, with security camera footage emerging yesterday of the singer licking a tray of doughnuts and saying “I hate America”. Bizarre, if you’re reading about this news for the first time, but true.

As a result, she has been quick to issue an unreserved apology, but has also cancelled her scheduled appearance at the MLB All-Star Concert in Cincinnati on Saturday claiming that she needs to have her wisdom teeth removed.

Charisma Carpenter has been cast in Scream Queens. 44-year-old Carpenter will play the mother of Ariana Grande’s character. She is joining the series in a guest role which has the potential to become recurring. Carpenter is best known for her role as Cordelia Chase on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel but she has since appeared in such series as Veronica Mars, Greek and The Lying Game.

Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy's ‘Sam & Cat’ is officially over. The popular Nickelodeon sitcom, which was the network’s spinoff of its two hit shows, ‘Victorious’ and ‘iCarly,’ has been canceled after a little over a year and only 35 episodes. "Nickelodeon will not be producing more episodes of 'Sam & Cat,' the statement said. “We are very proud of the show and its very talented cast and we wish them all the best." Apparently they weren’t proud enough to give a statement that wasn’t the blandest in TV cancellation history.

‘Sam & Cat’ had all the ingredients for success - rising stars in Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy, and not to mention a continuation of the extremely popular Nick shows that their characters came from. So, what exactly went wrong to make the network pull the plug so early? Rumors of drama behind the scenes surfaced when racy pictures of McCurdy leaked online back in March, which led to a hiatus in production that was obviously never lifted. Later on that month, during Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards, McCurdy was set to make an appearance but skipped the event, citing personal issues that suggested a fall out with Nickelodeon.
