It was at the singer’s concert that 22 people died during Britain’s most horrific terror attacks in a decade and the star was left devastated.

Manchester Arena is reportedly set to remain closed until September after the shocking terrorist attack that killed 22 people last month.

A number of acts that had been due to perform at the 21,000 capacity venue over the next three months have been announcing re-arrangement, postponements or cancellations, as extensive refurbishment work at the Arena is being scheduled after a suicide bomber detonated a device in the foyer as fans were leaving Ariana Grande’s concert back on May 22nd.

Miley Cyrus says it was a ''no brainer'' agreeing to do the Manchester benefit concert.

The 'Malibu' hitmaker was thrilled to join her friend Ariana Grande at the concert on Sunday (04.06.17) to raise money for the victims of an awful terror attack following an Ariana concert in the north England city only a few weeks ago.

Ariana Grande has landed herself right in it this week, with security camera footage emerging yesterday of the singer licking a tray of doughnuts and saying “I hate America”. Bizarre, if you’re reading about this news for the first time, but true.

As a result, she has been quick to issue an unreserved apology, but has also cancelled her scheduled appearance at the MLB All-Star Concert in Cincinnati on Saturday claiming that she needs to have her wisdom teeth removed.

TMZ posted a video on Tuesday (July 7th) which quickly went viral, of herself and her back-up dancer Ricky Alvarez in the Wolfee Donuts store in Lake Elsinore during the Fourth of July weekend. It shows the 22 year old pop star surreptitiously licking two doughnuts on a display shelf, and saying “I hate America”.

Charisma Carpenter has been cast in Scream Queens. 44-year-old Carpenter will play the mother of Ariana Grande’s character. She is joining the series in a guest role which has the potential to become recurring. Carpenter is best known for her role as Cordelia Chase on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel but she has since appeared in such series as Veronica Mars, Greek and The Lying Game.

Lea Michele is set to star in Fox's upcoming comedy-horror anthology, Scream Queens. The upcoming anthology, from Glee and American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy, will premiere in autumn 2015. The first season will consist of 15 hour long episodes with the plot centring on a series of murders on a college campus, according to Billboard.

Some of the lyrics to her recent single, ‘Break Free,’ made no sense at all. “I fought him on it the whole time,” Grande said to Time. “‘I am not going to sing a grammatically incorrect lyric, help me, God!’ Max was like, ‘It’s funny — just do it!’” Grande eventually gave in to Martin’s demands, singing lines like “Now that I’ve become who I really are,” and “I only wanna die alive.”

Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy's ‘Sam & Cat’ is officially over. The popular Nickelodeon sitcom, which was the network’s spinoff of its two hit shows, ‘Victorious’ and ‘iCarly,’ has been canceled after a little over a year and only 35 episodes. "Nickelodeon will not be producing more episodes of 'Sam & Cat,' the statement said. “We are very proud of the show and its very talented cast and we wish them all the best." Apparently they weren’t proud enough to give a statement that wasn’t the blandest in TV cancellation history.

‘Sam & Cat’ had all the ingredients for success - rising stars in Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy, and not to mention a continuation of the extremely popular Nick shows that their characters came from. So, what exactly went wrong to make the network pull the plug so early? Rumors of drama behind the scenes surfaced when racy pictures of McCurdy leaked online back in March, which led to a hiatus in production that was obviously never lifted. Later on that month, during Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards, McCurdy was set to make an appearance but skipped the event, citing personal issues that suggested a fall out with Nickelodeon.

Frankly, yes. What may even be more impressive than the success of ‘Problem’ was that Grande’s camp had an even bigger single on deck to act as the lead this entire time. Written by hitmakers Max Martin and Savan Kotecha, her most recent single, ‘Break Free,’ features production handled by Zedd and is Grande’s venture into the ever booming EDM genre. It’s infectiously upbeat backed by soaring vocals, and while currently number 27 on the Top 40, it’s only going to rise from here. For those not completely feeling her departure from her usual sound: no worries – the album’s track listing, guest features, and writing credits make it all appear very diverse, and there’s a lot to be excited about.

Features in music can often be like the dude who shows up to a party with his acoustic guitar. You’re thinking, like, “Why is he even here?” while awkwardly waiting for him to finish his mediocre Oasis cover, and you imagine an alternate universe where that person’s presence didn’t exist. It’s the same thing with bad features, especially in pop music. Now, don’t get me wrong - there are a ton of recent features that are incredible. There could not have been a better person chosen for Zedd’s ‘Stay The Night’ than Paramore’s Hayley Williams, and rapper Big Sean spitting on a verse on Fall Out Boy’s ‘The Mighty Fall’ made it unbelievably awesome.

However, there are some collaborations that may sound good in theory, but just leave you scratching your head - the ones that never had a chance at turning into something respectable, but still for some reason happened anyway. Ariana Grande’s recent hit, ‘Problem,’ falls into the “should have been good” category with its cameo from newcomer Iggy Azalea. Though their sounds mesh well, something about Azalea’s verse is just really irritating. Grande can hold her own - she doesn’t need a guest on her song no matter who it is. Of course, that didn’t stop the track from being a massive success, but it does raise the question how it would have sounded without Iggy on it. Interestingly enough, a version without her feature surfaced this week, and to no surprise, it’s significantly better with just Grande by her lonesome. Believe it or not, the guest-less versions of singles exist more often than you’d think, and most of the time, they’re much better by themselves.

Jennette McCurdy’s ‘sexy selfies’ scandal casting a wave of doubt over the future of her successful Nickelodeon show Sam and Cat, which has not yet been renewed for a second series. The leaked photo scandal, however, is just one part of what seems to be a much bigger issue between the star and the network. Who knew there was so much drama off the screen on Nickelodeon?

From 2007 to 2012, Jennette McCurdy starred in iCarly as Sam Puckett, one of the best friends of Miranda Cosgrave’s titular character. When the show ended Nickelodeon were had the bright idea of a spin off show, which would continue McCurdy’s character as well as serve as a spin off to another successful show, Victorious. Victorious, which ran from 2010, until 2013 and starred Victoria Justice as singer Tori Vega with Ariana Grande played her friend Cat Valentine. Grande’s character Cat was the one who got the spin off and she joined McCurdy’s Sam for the new show, Sam and Cat, where the two character set up a babysitting service together.

Sam & Cat may be cancelled following Jeannette McCurdy's leaked selfie scandal last month. McCurdy's scantily clad selfie was leaked online in March in which the actress posed in a thong and bra. Now rumors suggest the popular show may be cancelled and production has allegedly already ground to a halt.

The selfie scandal may not be the only reason for the shows cancellation as McCurdy appears displeased with the network. She boycotted the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards and tweeted to her fans apologising but blaming the network for her absence. The 21-year-old claimed her absence had nothing to do with the leaked pictures but was because "I was put in an uncomfortable, compromising, unfair situation (many of you have guessed what it is) and I had to look out for me." Many of her fans assumed McCurdy was referring to the leaked images and the iCarly star later clarified "It has to do with how Nickelodeon treated me." There has also been some suggestion, in reports by The NY Daily News, McCurdy has been quarrelling with her co-star Ariana Grande.

During the KIIS FM Jingle Ball concert in Los Angeles last week (6 Dec.), both Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez had a spot of technical difficulties when their mics went off part-way through their performance. Aggrieved, she swore and tried to communicate with the audience a little whilst the tech difficulties were sorted out. Once they were, Gomez performed one more song, 'Come & Get It,' before storming off stage despite having two more songs on her setlist. When the same thing happened to Grande, it was clear that she was singing and in a playful and joking manner she told the crowd, "At least you know I'm not singing to a track."

Happy Thanksgiving, dear American readers. As we understand it, it’s time to stuff your face, then kick back and enjoy the parade. In New York this meant the Macy’s Thanksgiving festivities, which included, among other things, multiple Broadway numbers and a whole host of budding young celebrities – from Ariana Grande to Fifth Harmony.

Everyone is in Amsterdam this week for the MTV European Music Awards, but some are having less fun than others. Case in point: Ariana Grande’s hotel debacle. Well, it wasn’t actually the hotel that was at fault and, to be fair, the little mishap makes Ms Grande seem like a very nice person. The actress took to her balcony to greet her fans, like some sort of member of musical royalty.

Unfortunately, when Ariana tried to walk among her people, she was stopped (presumably for security reasons) by hotel management. You can’t keep the singer away from her fans apparently and she put up a fight. In probably the most public break-up in recent celebrity history, Jai Brooks has outwardly accused his former girlfriend Ariana Grande of 'cheating' on him with The Wanted's Nathan Sykes.

The YouTube prankster appeared to confirm rumors that his 'Victorious' star girlfriend has in fact cheated on him with her new boyfriend in a lengthy rant over Twitter, after the two emerged to be dating only weeks after Ariana and Jai's relationship ended.

"Yes I was cheated on. Yes it does suck. Yes I was left for another man," was how Jai's open letter to his fans began (pretty unambiguous, really).
