Ariana Grande's manager Scooter Braun confirms the Manchester gig will go on
In the aftermath, the country for the most-part pulled together, supporting one another and content in the fact that love will always beat out terror. Grande herself opened up about her own feelings following the attack, admitting she was "broken" immediately after hearing the news, but helping put together a benefit concert, which is scheduled to go ahead tonight in the city of Manchester.
The benefit gig at Manchester's Old Trafford cricket ground is being held on Sunday (June 4th), and tickets sold out in under six minutes this morning.

The 'One Love Manchester' benefit concert had been due to clash with Sunday's 'BGT' final, but ITV has moved it to Saturday night instead.
ITV has announced that it is to move the live final of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ in order that it doesn’t clash with the BBC’s coverage of Ariana Grande’s star-studded benefit concert in Manchester on Sunday (June 4th).
The network will now be screening the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ final at 7:30pm on Saturday night (June 3rd), the time slot in which it had originally planned to broadcast the British Soap Awards.
In a statement, a spokesperson for ITV said that it had “no desire to distract from the important cause” for which Grande’s concert is raising funds. For soap fans, ITV will now be showing the awards on Tuesday night (June 6th) at 8:00pm.

It's rumoured that there has been extra security around the home of Ariana Grande's mother Joan in Boca Raton, Florida, with TMZ citing several 'security vehicles' being parked outside the residence as well as 'two cop cars' on the street nearby. Biebs joined the ‘Bang Bang’ singer on stage in Miami but apparently he didn’t do his homework first.
Justin Bieber gave Ariana Grande and her fans a huge surprise on Saturday evening, when he joined the singer on stage to perform a duet of ‘Love Me Harder’. Grande is currently taking the US by storm on her Honeymoon Tour, which had rolled into Miami’s American Airlines arena.
Bieber surprised Ariana Grande on stage in Miami
Bieber joined Grande for a rendition of the track, taking the parts originally performed by The Weeknd. But Justin wasn't quite as familiar with the single as he might have thought, and he ended up fluffing a few of the song's lyrics much to his embarrassment.
Bring out the glitter, the Honeymoon tour is underway.
Ariana Grande’s Madison Square Garden gig featured glitter, cat ears and a few tears – that’s kind of the definition of dramatic. So what was the gig all about? "Good music, good choreography and a great time -- I want to make sure that my fans have the best night of their lives," Ariana Grande says in a video clip that opens her Honeymoon Tour.
Ariana still rocks the cat ears occasionally, as an homage to her Nickelodeon character Cat Valentine.
That’s exactly what she delivered, with tight choreo and elaborate staging galore backing up the upbeat, poppy tracks from her back-to-back debut and sophomore efforts Yours Truly and My Everything. The Honeymoon tour is Grande’s first touring effort after she left behind Nickelodeon to focus on her hugely successful (so far) music career.
Ex-Wanted member, Nathan Sykes, just unleashed his first solo song.
The Wanted might be done for the time being, but one of the members are coming back in a big way. Singer/songwriter and former member of the UK boyband, Nathan Sykes, just dropped his debut solo track titled, ‘More Than You’ll Ever Know.’
Nathan Sykes' debut solo track is the jazzy 'More Than You'll Ever Know'
‘More Than You’ll Ever Know’ is available through Sykes’ Facebook page, and the song itself is definitely not what you’d expect given his previous track record. Soulful and jazzy, Sykes’ vocals clearly haven’t lost its edge over the past year or so since The Wanted’s end. In fact, it might just be the best thing we’ve heard from the 21-year-old yet.

Ok, before you read this article, we have to agree on one thing: this is a no Nicki Minaj hate zone. That means that you have to read it with an open mind and hopefully appreciate the majesty that is Nicki Minaj’s hair, music, makeup... everything, really.

Ariana and Iggy are the first to reach the record, since Adele in 2012.
Everything is coming up Ariana Grande these days, including a record that hasn’t been topped since 2012. Ariana currently has three songs in the Billboard Top 10 - Break Free at No.4, Problem at No.7 and Jessie J and Nicki Minaj collaboration Bang Bang at No.10 (Ariana is credited as a lead artist on that, so it still counts).
Is Ariana Grande on the fast track to lasting success?
The previous record holder was Adele, with three of her songs in the Top Ten of the Billboard Hot 100 back in 2012. The songs in question were Set Fire To The Rain at No. 2, Rolling In The Deep, which landed at No. 5 and Someone Like You at No. 7 – the trifecta of songs, which make up every great breakup playlist.

Let's take a look at some of the worst grammar-offenders in music.
Everybody loves a good pop song, but sometimes you can’t help but cringe when the lyrics are just bad beyond comprehension. Pop obviously isn't exactly known for its strengths in the lyric department, but it’s hard to ignore when lyrics aren’t just bad - they’re grammatically incorrect, too.
Ariana Grande and Max Martin fought over grammatically incorrect lyrics in 'Break Free'
Believe it or not, the actual artists behind the songs may feel the same way, too. Ariana Grande recently spoke about the arguments in the studio that she had with producer Max Martin while recording her new album, My Everything. The issue? Some of the lyrics to her recent single, ‘Break Free,’ made no sense at all. “I fought him on it the whole time,” Grande said to Time. “‘I am not going to sing a grammatically incorrect lyric, help me, God!’ Max was like, ‘It’s funny — just do it!’” Grande eventually gave in to Martin’s demands, singing lines like “Now that I’ve become who I really are,” and “I only wanna die alive.”

Described as the ‘new Mariah Carey’ by some critics, this pint-sized popstar has cemented herself as music’s newest sweetheart through several popular tunes, a breakout artist award and an audience with The White House.

In the midst of Ariana Grande's music career going from strength to strength with this summer's huge hit 'Problems' (feat. Iggy Azalea), and 'Break Free' (feat. Zedd), her personal life is also on the up, as she is reportedly dating rapper Big Sean.
Grande has worked with Big Sean on several songs in the past

Did you know that Frankie Grande is Ariana Grande's brother? Don't worry, he spilled all about it on Big Brother.
On the outside, we’ve known that Frankie from Big Brother US is, in fact, Ariana Grande’s own big brother. But the way he made his confession is just so awkward, you can’t look away from this trainwreck. One tip for Frankie – if you have to tell everyone how famous you are, you probably aren’t that famous.
Frankie is the one in the middle, by the way.
“I have been lying to all of you,” Frankie begins his super dramatic, mega awkward confession in front of a gathering of the house.

We've heard 'Bang Bang,' but what are some of the other best pop songs with three artists?
The only thing better than one pop star on a song is three, right? How about a combination of Jessie J, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj - ALL on one track? It's what we got with the newly released 'Bang Bang' single, and it's proving that songs like these need to be happen more often.
'Bang Bang' was released on July 29
Released this week, the single featuring Jessie, Nicki, and Ari is an easy frontrunner for "Song of the Summer," and hell, maybe even pop song of the year. It'll be included on Jessie J's upcoming album this fall, as well as in the deluxe edition of Grande's new record, My Everything, so 'Bang Bang' isn't going away anytime soon. But what makes it so great? A mix of all the unique qualities in the girls - Jessie's explosive vocals, Grande's sassy croon, and Minaj's signature fierce rap verse makes for a track that only gets better with every listen. Coupled with the glossy production of mastermind producer Max Martin, 'Bang Bang' simply can't not be a hit. It's even being touted as 'Lady Marmalade 2.0' - the juggernaut number one smash in 2004 that featured Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mya, and Pink. Arguably, 'Bang Bang' outshines that track in every way possible, and having three vs. four is just easier to listen to. With that said, which songs are the best triple threats in pop music over the past couple of years?

Jessie J, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj release their joint single 'Bang, Bang,' and it's fantastic.
What happens when three of the biggest names in pop music all have albums coming out soon? You put them together to make a collaborative single, of course. Jessie J, Nicki Minaj, and Ariana Grande linked up to create their brand new single, 'Bang Bang,' and it sounds better than you'd ever expect.
'Bang Bang' will be included on Jessie J's upcoming album
'Bang Bang' is proof that just because it's almost August doesn't mean the title for "Song of the Summer" still isn't up for grabs. Produced by Max Martin, Savan Kotecha, and Ilya Salmanzadeh - the crew behind Ariana Grande's 'Problem' - the track is an absolute smash that shows the best qualities of Jessie J, Grande, and Minaj. The song is going to serve as an album track off Jessie J's upcoming album set for release later this fall. After the disappointing sales numbers for her last record, Alive, Jessie J was in the studio hard at work earlier this year for album number three. Alive never even saw a U.S. release, so the fact that this may be her record's lead single could bode well for the record's chart potential in the future.

The 21 year-old singer spoke candidly with September Magazine about her tumultuous relationship with her father.
It is hard to believe, but not everything about Ariana Grande is perfect. The endearing 21 year-old's solo music career has gone from strength to strength with this summer's huge hit 'Problems' (feat. Iggy Azalea), and 'Break Free' (feat. Zedd), but behind this success, her personal life has gone through some tough times.
Grande recalls "falling out of touch" with her father last year
Firstly, after several reports that claimed herself and Jennette McCurdy were in the midst of a falling out, Nickelodeon decided to pull the plug on their hit show 'Sam & Cat' earlier this month, several other behind-the-scenes issues also contributed to the cancellation.
Can Grande and Jessie J's new single match the success of "Problem"?
Ariana Grande is checking off rap babes to collaborate with one by one. Grande is on Jessie J’s new single Bang Bang, along with Nicki Minaj. The single premiered on Monday, a day before it became available for purchase. The catchy summer tune is part of Jessie’s upcoming album – yet to receive a cover and a name – and will also be featured as a bonus track on the deluxe editions of Ariana's own upcoming record My Everything. So get ready to hear this song everywhere this summer. Not that anyone minds, of course.
Pop's new dream team?
Teasing the new album, Grande posted a short snippet on Instagram yesterday. For her own teaser, Nicki Minaj took a slightly different route. The rap queen posted a caricature of the three divas in leather gear, brandishing guns like a trio of kick-ass futuristic space warriors… or something. It looked cool, anyway.

Nickelodeon's hit sitcom, 'Sam & Cat,' is officially canceled. What's the reasoning behind it, and where do the stars go from here?
Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy's ‘Sam & Cat’ is officially over. The popular Nickelodeon sitcom, which was the network’s spinoff of its two hit shows, ‘Victorious’ and ‘iCarly,’ has been canceled after a little over a year and only 35 episodes. "Nickelodeon will not be producing more episodes of 'Sam & Cat,' the statement said. “We are very proud of the show and its very talented cast and we wish them all the best." Apparently they weren’t proud enough to give a statement that wasn’t the blandest in TV cancellation history.
'Sam & Cat' was canceled this past weekend
‘Sam & Cat’ had all the ingredients for success - rising stars in Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy, and not to mention a continuation of the extremely popular Nick shows that their characters came from. So, what exactly went wrong to make the network pull the plug so early? Rumors of drama behind the scenes surfaced when racy pictures of McCurdy leaked online back in March, which led to a hiatus in production that was obviously never lifted. Later on that month, during Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards, McCurdy was set to make an appearance but skipped the event, citing personal issues that suggested a fall out with Nickelodeon.
With the release of her new single, 'Break Free,' will Ariana Grande's follow-up single to 'Problem' hit number one, too?
Ariana Grande might have some “problems,” but none of them are music related. The 21 year old popstar dropped her single, ‘Problem,’ featuring Iggy Azalea back in April, and it was a surprise hit that shot to the top of the charts, and is currently sitting at number one on the Top 40. The release of ‘Problem’ was in preparation of promoting her upcoming album, announced as My Everything, which will be coming out on August 22. Less than a year since the release of her debut record, Yours Truly, does what we know about My Everything thus far lead us to believe that Grande’s got another success on her hands?
Ariana Grande performing in New York
Frankly, yes. What may even be more impressive than the success of ‘Problem’ was that Grande’s camp had an even bigger single on deck to act as the lead this entire time. Written by hitmakers Max Martin and Savan Kotecha, her most recent single, ‘Break Free,’ features production handled by Zedd and is Grande’s venture into the ever booming EDM genre. It’s infectiously upbeat backed by soaring vocals, and while currently number 27 on the Top 40, it’s only going to rise from here. For those not completely feeling her departure from her usual sound: no worries – the album’s track listing, guest features, and writing credits make it all appear very diverse, and there’s a lot to be excited about.

Former Nickelodeon actress Ariana Grande has landed her very first number one alongside Iggy Azalea with her collaborative new tune 'Problem'. And not only that, she's even made history by becoming the first chart topper to also succeed in having the most streams in accordance to the reformed Official Singles Chart. It presents high hopes for her forthcoming second album 'My Everything' due out later this summer - but goodness knows why.
'Problem' opens with a quirky, celebratory trumpet and Iggy Azalea outlining her hip hop influence with her brief introduction. Ariana then breaks in with an impressively bland, generic pop verse, frequenting such unusually sung lines as 'baby' and 'I want you'. You have to hand it to her, her voice does reach some unbelievable heights throughout, but in a song so void of feeling and originality, it seems so wasted.
As the chorus approaches, you've got the attempt at sexiness with the whispered 'I got one less problem without ya' which just feels painfully cheesy. Iggy's entrance hardly feels like an improvement either, with her highly predictable spin on Jay-Z's '99 Problems': 'I got 99 problems but you won't be one' - seriously?! It's true Iggy can spit with epic speed, but she's hardly going to change hip hop.

Ariana Grande is the UK charts' first streaming champion.
As of this week, Ariana Grande can chalk up another achievement – her single Problem isthe first UK Number One in the Official Singles Chart based on sales as well as streaming data.
Ariana Grande's Problem is the first UK Number 1 that got there through streaming.
This is the very first week when streaming data was counted, with the idea of providing a more accurate picture of the actual popularity of a single. The streaming data is taken from services like Spotify, Napster, Deezer, O2 Tracks, Music Unlimited (Sony’s service) and Xbox music and added to the count, with 100 plays being equal to one physical or digital purchase.

After Ariana Grande released a version of her single, 'Problem,' without Iggy Azalea, what are some other songs that are better off without their guests?
Features in music can often be like the dude who shows up to a party with his acoustic guitar. You’re thinking, like, “Why is he even here?” while awkwardly waiting for him to finish his mediocre Oasis cover, and you imagine an alternate universe where that person’s presence didn’t exist. It’s the same thing with bad features, especially in pop music. Now, don’t get me wrong - there are a ton of recent features that are incredible. There could not have been a better person chosen for Zedd’s ‘Stay The Night’ than Paramore’s Hayley Williams, and rapper Big Sean spitting on a verse on Fall Out Boy’s ‘The Mighty Fall’ made it unbelievably awesome.

However, there are some collaborations that may sound good in theory, but just leave you scratching your head - the ones that never had a chance at turning into something respectable, but still for some reason happened anyway. Ariana Grande’s recent hit, ‘Problem,’ falls into the “should have been good” category with its cameo from newcomer Iggy Azalea. Though their sounds mesh well, something about Azalea’s verse is just really irritating. Grande can hold her own - she doesn’t need a guest on her song no matter who it is. Of course, that didn’t stop the track from being a massive success, but it does raise the question how it would have sounded without Iggy on it. Interestingly enough, a version without her feature surfaced this week, and to no surprise, it’s significantly better with just Grande by her lonesome. Believe it or not, the guest-less versions of singles exist more often than you’d think, and most of the time, they’re much better by themselves.
Ariana Grande is ready with a summery, pop anthem-filled record.
Yes, a new Arianna Grande album is coming and coming soon. The singer, who loves connecting with her fans through Twitter, aptly took to the social network for the grand announcement. And the album will be called… drumroll, please… My Everything. More importantly, fans will not have to wait long for the record. The release date has been set for August 25.
We definitely have no problem with this announcement.
Oh, but wait! Grande, social media queen that she is, shared a whole news broadcast worth of content, including an interview with Ryan Seacrest, wherein she talked about the process of creating My Everything. Fun tidbit for newer Ariana fans – the rising starlet almost didn’t include her biggest hit to date, Problem, on the album. The full release will feature some exciting collaborations with the likes of Big Sean and others.
Is it all over for Jennette McCurdy and Sam and Cat?
Jennette McCurdy’s ‘sexy selfies’ scandal casting a wave of doubt over the future of her successful Nickelodeon show Sam and Cat, which has not yet been renewed for a second series. The leaked photo scandal, however, is just one part of what seems to be a much bigger issue between the star and the network. Who knew there was so much drama off the screen on Nickelodeon?
Sam and Cat star Jennette McCurdy
From 2007 to 2012, Jennette McCurdy starred in iCarly as Sam Puckett, one of the best friends of Miranda Cosgrave’s titular character. When the show ended Nickelodeon were had the bright idea of a spin off show, which would continue McCurdy’s character as well as serve as a spin off to another successful show, Victorious. Victorious, which ran from 2010, until 2013 and starred Victoria Justice as singer Tori Vega with Ariana Grande played her friend Cat Valentine. Grande’s character Cat was the one who got the spin off and she joined McCurdy’s Sam for the new show, Sam and Cat, where the two character set up a babysitting service together.

'Sam & Cat' may have been voted Favourite TV Show at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards last weekend (29th March) but the future of the series could be in jeopardy following a selfie scandal surrounding one of its lead stars.
Sam & Cat may be cancelled following Jeannette McCurdy's leaked selfie scandal last month. McCurdy's scantily clad selfie was leaked online in March in which the actress posed in a thong and bra. Now rumors suggest the popular show may be cancelled and production has allegedly already ground to a halt.

The selfie scandal may not be the only reason for the shows cancellation as McCurdy appears displeased with the network. She boycotted the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards and tweeted to her fans apologising but blaming the network for her absence. The 21-year-old claimed her absence had nothing to do with the leaked pictures but was because "I was put in an uncomfortable, compromising, unfair situation (many of you have guessed what it is) and I had to look out for me." Many of her fans assumed McCurdy was referring to the leaked images and the iCarly star later clarified "It has to do with how Nickelodeon treated me." There has also been some suggestion, in reports by The NY Daily News, McCurdy has been quarrelling with her co-star Ariana Grande.

The Nickelodeon TV star didn't expect her sexy photos to go viral.
The fate of Nickelodeon show Sam & Cat is currently hanging by a thread thanks to the kids' comedy star Jennette McCurdy, whose nearly nude pictures leaked online and soon went viral last month. Production on the highly rated TV show has now ground to a halt and the comedy has not been renewed for a second season despite the success of its first, according to NY Daily News.
Jennette McCurdy Had Not Expected Her Nearly Nude Selfies To Leak Online.
Sources also say that the 21 year-old actress has also been feuding with her co-star, the pop singer Ariana Grande, after a collection of sexy selfies depicting McCurdy posing in a thong were spread online in early March. The feuding came to a head last Saturday when Jennette boycotted Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards and blamed her decision on her interaction with the children's network.

Jennifer Lawrence won big at the Kids' Choice Awards - but it was David Blaine, Mark Wahlberg and others who got slimed.
Jennifer Lawrence and pop group One Direction were among the big winners at the 27th annual Kids' Choice Awards at the Galen Center at USC in Los Angeles. Selena Gomez, Robert Downey Jr and Ariana Grande were also honored at Nickelodeon's annual awards show, at which 'unslimable' host Mark Wahlberg met his match.

The Nickelodeon star appeared to be having a go at Gomez for lip-syncing, but insists she meant no hard feelings
During the KIIS FM Jingle Ball concert in Los Angeles last week (6 Dec.), both Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez had a spot of technical difficulties when their mics went off part-way through their performance. For Grande, it was a moment to laugh about, but when it happened to Gomez, it was a much more embarrassing affair and even prompted the singer to swear and then storm off stage. Watch Ariana Grande and Jai Brooks make-out session at JFK airport.
Grande insists she meant nothing with her remark, whilst Gomez is staying quiet about the whole thing
Gomez, who performed before Grande, was busted for lip syncing after her mic went off and the music kept on playing behind her. Aggrieved, she swore and tried to communicate with the audience a little whilst the tech difficulties were sorted out. Once they were, Gomez performed one more song, 'Come & Get It,' before storming off stage despite having two more songs on her setlist. When the same thing happened to Grande, it was clear that she was singing and in a playful and joking manner she told the crowd, "At least you know I'm not singing to a track."
The diva made sure the 2013 'Christmas at Rockefeller Center' was one to remember.
Mariah Carey made sure that this year's Christmas at Rockefeller Center was truly special last night when she performed at the 81st Annual Tree Lighting, aired on NBC. Mariah's performance may have been pre-recorded from the day before but this didn't affect the full festive impact of her dazzling performance.
Mariah Made Sure All Eyes Were On Her At The Christmas Tree Lighting.
Now that the arm injury that has kept her in a sling for the past few months seems to have healed, Mariah pulled out all the stops to shine as brightly as the Christmas lights that were illuminated all around her. The 43 year-old diva, whose 1994 Christmas album is a classic, performed wearing two equally sumptuous ball gowns.
This year's parade included plenty of debuts from music's youngest stars.
Happy Thanksgiving, dear American readers. As we understand it, it’s time to stuff your face, then kick back and enjoy the parade. In New York this meant the Macy’s Thanksgiving festivities, which included, among other things, multiple Broadway numbers and a whole host of budding young celebrities – from Ariana Grande to Fifth Harmony.
Fifth Harmony made their Thanksgiving parade debut.
MTV reports that the 5H ladies rode on the Pepperidge Farm float and sang their hit “Come Together” for the gathered crowd and the viewers at home. Earlier, the ladies had spoken to MTV about their excitement to perform during the parade, which has been a beloved Thanksgiving tradition since its advent in 1924.
The AMA's best new artist outshone all other performances.
Ariana Grande may be relatively new on the music scene but at last night's American Music Awards the 20 year-old diva showed that not only was her performing ability on a par with the big hitters in the music biz, she could bring said heavy-weights to their knees with her tender rendition of her hit, 'Tattooed Heart.'
Ariana's AMAs Performance Brought Heavy-Weight Stars To Their Feet.
Clad in red sequins and channelling the diva-esque flair of Mariah Carey, Ariana eschewed frenzied lighting, dancing or costume changes in favour of a single spotlight, a retro microphone and four soulful male backing singers. For a star who has been busy breaking out with her debut album, Yours Truly, during the last 12 months, this was her chance to say to the world, "Hey! Here I am."
The singer got to socialize with some of her European fans over the weekend.
Everyone is in Amsterdam this week for the MTV European Music Awards, but some are having less fun than others. Case in point: Ariana Grande’s hotel debacle. Well, it wasn’t actually the hotel that was at fault and, to be fair, the little mishap makes Ms Grande seem like a very nice person. The actress took to her balcony to greet her fans, like some sort of member of musical royalty.
Ariana looking rather Juliette-like during her Amsterdam adventure.
Unfortunately, when Ariana tried to walk among her people, she was stopped (presumably for security reasons) by hotel management. You can’t keep the singer away from her fans apparently and she put up a fight. She even took to Twitter to vent her frustration, letting her fans (some of whom were no doubt among the screaming crowd below.)
Jai Brooks reveals to fans how ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande was cheating on him with The Wanted's Nathan Sykes before they'd even broken up.
The YouTube prankster appeared to confirm rumors that his 'Victorious' star girlfriend has in fact cheated on him with her new boyfriend in a lengthy rant over Twitter, after the two emerged to be dating only weeks after Ariana and Jai's relationship ended.
"Yes I was cheated on. Yes it does suck. Yes I was left for another man," was how Jai's open letter to his fans began (pretty unambiguous, really).
She'll need to celebrate quietly.
If we were Ariana Grande and we'd just been told we were the 15th female solo artist to have their debut album go straight to number one on the Billboard chart, we'd want to make some noise. However, the 20 year-old popstar is not allowed to whoop raucously at the success of Yours Truly so instead she'll have to whisper "yay" quietly.
Ariana Has Wowed With Her Debut Album.
What she's lacked in vocal noise of late, she's made up for in excited tweets, announcing her success with a screenshot of Billboard's congratulatory with with the caption "Dream come true... Thank you guys so much for making it possible."
