The Space Between Us Trailer

Gardner Elliot isn't like average 16 year old boys, he's lived on a small colony completely cut off from human contact and with little knowledge as to where he's come from. Before he was born, Gardener's mother was one of a select crew chosen to go live on the planet mars.

The mission to mars takes off and the astronauts begin their long journey to the planet only to discover that Gardener's mother is pregnant with the little boy. As the astronauts reach their destination, Gardener is born but his mother dies due to birthing complications. Living in the confines of a space the scientists do their best to bring up Gardener but as he gets older, the teenage starts to ask questions about his past and his father.

Looking for clues as to who his father might be, Gardener begins an internet search which leads him to make friends with Tulsa, a girl of similar age. After returning to earth the pair start a mission to find out who Gardener really is but neither realise just how much danger earth's atmosphere is causing the boy.

Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children Trailer

Jake has always been an ordinary boy but when he finds himself on a small island, things begin to happen that few people would be able to explain. His new friend, a beautiful young girl named Emma seems to be able to perform miraculous occurrences start to happen.

Things become a little clearer - yet utterly more baffling - when he's taken to meet Miss Peregrine at her exceptional orphanage for children. As Jacob is quick to learn, each of Miss Peregrine's kids has a special ability, something unique to them. Emma can control oxygen and must wear hefty boots to keep her feet firmly attached to the ground, whilst Bronwyn is a little girl with incredible physical strength.

Miss Peregrine is the protector of the children and acts as their matriarch. To keep them safe she's formulated a way of manipulating time to keep the kids away from dangerous monsters who hunt them down - however, as the dark forces become stronger the Children are placed in more and more danger - unbeknownst to Jacob, perhaps he holds the key to keeping his new friends safe.

10,000 Saints Trailer

Jude gets the surprise of his life when his biological father Les shows up at his adoptive mother's house in Vermont, ready to take him to Manhattan and become a real father to him. Jude is reluctant, given his father's questionable lifestyle and his drug-dealing ways, but the prospect of re-connecting with his friends Eliza and Johnny is tempting. Jude has more reason than most to hate the way his father makes money; it's not long since the death of his friend Teddy, who overdosed after a night out; and it's made even worse now that Les is in a relationship with Eliza's rich English mother Di. He has one escape though; his passion for straight-edge hardcore punk is at an all-time high and now that he's back with his friends, he can seize his guitar and play away the angst. Unfortunately, his peace isn't very long-lasting, because Eliza has one bombshell to drop that no-one was expecting - and it's going to change everything.

'Ender's Game' Is A Worthy Adaptation - Boycott The Book, Scott-Card Isn't Getting Paid

Harrison Ford Asa Butterfield Ben Kingsley

Ender’s Game was a risky project from the outset. Not only is Orsen Scott-Card’s novel one of the most revered sci-fi works of all time, but the author’s forthright and controversial views on homosexuality have polarized fans of the franchise and the gay community alike.

But there is a crossover between the two – the gay community and fans of Ender’s – which lead to a campaign to boycott the movie remake of Scott-Card’s timeless book.

The Boy In The Striped Pajamas Review

Very Good
In Mark Herman's adaptation of John Boyne's controversial children's bestseller offering a kid's-eye view of Holocaust, the young eight-year-old Bruno (Asa Butterfield) has the wide, blue-eyed innocence of the unprotected. Sheltered and half in a fantasy world, he runs through city streets with his friends, his arms outstretched like wings, gliding untouched through the busy and congested world of adults. Herman bathes these opening scenes in a fantastic fairy-tale burnish, like a golden world ready to be lost.

Bruno shares a family dinner with his loving parents (Vera Farmiga and David Thewlis) and his older sister Gretel (Amber Beattie). With their sparkling British Masterpiece Theatre accents, the family appears as well-scrubbed paragons of British banality. (Even Richard Johnson, that great bastion of British nobility from the epics of the 1960s, is exhumed to appear as the family's Grandpa.) So it comes as a shock when Thewlis dons a German commandant's uniform for a going-away party and Herman quietly reveals that the Dad has been reassigned, taking the family with him. As Dad remarks, "Home is where the family is." In this case, however, home is Auschwitz and Dad is the new camp commandant, who will be supervising the mass exterminations.
