Fake rings and false social media locations were just some of the tricks Kutcher and Kunis resorted to in order to keep their wedding day a secret.
Ashton Kutcher has spoken about the lengths he went to in order to keep his marriage to Mila Kunis a secret from the tabloid press, describing it as a “ninja effort”.
Perfect example – back in March last year, Kunis appeared on James Corden’s ‘The Late Late Show’ and told the presenter, coyly, that she and her former ‘That ‘70s Show’ co-star Kutcher had gotten hitched. However, it was then reported that the couple had tied the knot on the July 4th weekend, with Kunis sporting a fake ring on TV to throw off the scent.
Kutcher appeared on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ on Wednesday (March 2nd) to provide some more details about the various ploys they used in order to try to ensure privacy on their big day – including fake social media locations.

“It was a ninja effort. We really didn’t want helicopters at our wedding and it’s a legitimate concern,” he told Ellen, “So I was like posting things on social media that we’re in different locations to avoid the helicopters because we didn’t want to be like screaming our vows at each other… We went really under the radar with it.”

Kutcher and Kunis have always valued their privacy highly despite maintaining careers in the public eye, last year suing British tabloid The Daily Mail over unauthorised paparazzi snaps taken of them with their baby daughter Wyatt, now 17 months old.
Despite their privacy, the 38 year old ‘Two and a Half Men’ star shared an update about how his daughter was developing, revealing that she loves dancing. “She's down with dancing. I mean, if I sing 'The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round,' she loses it,” Kutcher said. "That's her thing. She just loves it when the wheels go round.”
Wyatt’s signature dance move? “She likes to 'whip and nae nae,' too. I think she thinks she's doing it, because it's whippin' and whippin' and nae-nae-ing. Mama taught her that.”
