The beloved comedy will not be returning after the upcoming season, but fans should know: "Chuck Lorre is creating a season-long event."
'Two And A Half Men' will come to an end after its 12th season airs this coming fall.
The beloved comedy, which debuted in 2003, established itself as one of the television networks highest rated shows.
The network made the announced on Wednesday (May 14th), but reiterated to the fans that there is an exciting last season ahead, which is full of surprises.
"Chuck Lorre is creating a season-long event. We did very well last year with announcing final season of How I Met Your Mother here, too. Chuck is very psyched about this; he's got some great ideas and very big surprises," CBS' Nina Tassler said at the pre-upfront press breakfast, via The Hollywood Reporter.
"We know fans and audiences respond to that and that should really give us a nice boost when we launch our new comedy," she added.
Over the years 'Two and a Half Men' has been subject to many dramas off-camera, mainly involving the show's former star Charlie Sheen, who was infamously fired from the sitcom in 2011 after he began to act vey erratically and appeared to have a public meltdown, where he frequently declared "I'm winning."

Ashton Kutcher was brought in to replace Sheen, and co-star alongside John Cryer and Angus T. Jones. However, in 2013 the line-up changed once again after Jones left the show after branding it as "filth" and urged viewers to stop watching.
