Early reviews of 'Mood Indigo' are not promising as the film has been labelled whimsical, pretty but lacking in realism. But if you're prepared to suspend disbelief, you may be in for a star filled treat in this French language film starring Audrey Tautou and Romain Duris.

Watch The Movie Trailer For Mood Indigo:
Mood Indigo is based on a 1947 novel by multi-talented French writer Boris Vian. The novel has previously been adapted into film format twice, most recently in 2001 by Japanese film maker Gô Rijû (Ataru).
The film has been received mixed reviews following its screening at film festivals around the world. The love story appears to have been somewhat overshadowed by Gondry's direction particularly in terms of visual effects. Granted they are "impressive" and similar to Gondry's previous films (Variety) but the numerous "visual jokes" distract from the plot and more focus is necessary to ensure the characters are realistic (The List).
Mood Indigo is due to be released on 18th July in the US and 1st August in the UK.
