The 212 hitmaker signed with entertainment mogul Jeff Kwatinetz's Prospect Park management company and label last year (14) after she cut ties with Interscope over album disagreements and she went on to release her much-delayed debut disc Broke With Expensive Taste in November (14).

Banks announced plans to leave Prospect Park in July (15) and she has now claimed she cannot release any new material because she is not being released from her contract until February (16).

In a series of messages on Twitter.com, she writes, "I (am) really bad at choosing business partners LOL (laugh out loud)... So Prospect Park has me for management and Label (stupid Azealia, right) now Jeff Kwatinetz no longer wants to manage me but... is holding me in my album contract until February 2016. So... there won't be any new music until March 2016. Sorry guys... Pain from the game... I guess I was so desperate to get my album out that I took a bad business deal... oh well, the months will fly by."
