The all-female quartet landed a prestigious support slot on the U.S. band's In A World Like This tour Down Under last year (14) but were stunned by the negative response from some fans.

However, their performances on the trek were so impressive that they were delighted when they later received an apology from several of their detractors.

Singer Elana Stone tells the Sydney Daily Telegraph, "They were semi-horrified to find out (we were the support act). Some of the extreme Backstreet Boys fans started writing us hate mail... I was really ready to be booed but it actually worked out really positively and we've had a good response. We even received apology letters."
