The Backstreet Boys are poised to give fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse into their professional and personal lives with a new feature film documentary.

The I Want It That Way hitmakers will debut Backstreet Boys: Show 'Em What You're Made Of, in January (15).

Filmed over a period of two years, the movie follows the members as they revisit their humble beginnings, discuss the downside of fame and the future of their career, as they record their most recent album, In A World Like This.

In the trailer for the film, band member Brian Littrell says, "From 1992 to 2002 we were the biggest band in the world. No one thought it was going to be as big as it was. Then it just stopped. And what do you do when you're a full grown man in a boy band?"

The documentary will be released in the U.S. on 30 January (15) and worldwide on 26 February (15). It will also feature on America's Vh1 network as part of its Rock Docs series in the spring (15).
