Barbara Walters is confessing all since she is now retired.

The 84 year-old recently admitting to having a crush on Hollywood star Clint Eastwood that lasted for many years, and is still hoping that a chance of a romance between the pair will happen.

The revelation occurred when Walters appeared on Jimmy Fallon's 'Tonight Show' this past Wednesday night (June 11th).

"This is a sad love story," she told Fallon.

"I did this interview with Clint Eastwood something like 30 years ago, and he was very flirtatious and I was very taken, and he asked me if I wanted to have dinner ... I said, 'No, I have to work.' You know, I don't mix business with pleasure. I could've been Mrs. Clint Eastwood!" Walters explained.

The legendary TV journalist, who has tied the knot four times, recently attended the premiere of Eastwood's latest flick 'Jersey Boys' and was hoping to get her "big chance" after three decades of wondering.

"I thought, 'Maybe! Maybe it's not too late!'" she said. "I'm not kidding. I really did . I got the right outfit, the false eyelashes, the whole thing."

But their red carpet reunion didn't go as Walters planned.

"What's that expression? He was just not [that] into me," she told Fallon, who tried to comfort her by saying, "You don't need him anyway!"
