Barbara Windsor recently just managed to avoid a Janet Jackson-style wardrobe malfunction, at the opening of a new pop-up restaurant in London. According to the Belfast Telegraph, the former Carry On. and Eastenders star's top popped open just moments before she was to make her appearance, but someone came to the rescue with a sewing kit.
The event was part of Prince Charles' Start campaign, which took place over five days and promoted organic and green living. The star-studded opening took place at plush Lancaster House, just next door to the Royal residence Clarence House. According to the Evening Standard, there were rumours that Prince Charles and his partner CAMILLA PARKER-BOWLES, the Duchess of Cornwall, would be dining at the restaurant. Windsor used the event to point out that she always tried to buy organic and home-grown food wherever possible, commenting: "I want people to buy the best of British." The pop up restaurant idea was initiated by JAMIE GRAINGER-SMITH, who set up Fifteen with Jamie Oliver. The bar was made from sustainable wood and bamboo, and it served organic beer and wine in the garden.
