Fact: Monty Python star Michael Palin is to become the latest famous face to play God in the comedy troupe's West End musical Spamalot. The guest appearances in the show are raising money for charity and other stars to take part include Downton Abbey actor Hugh Bonneville and Carry On star Barbara Windsor.

Fact: Hollywood star Hugh Grant, model/actress Lily Cole and veteran actress Barbara Windsor have joined the line-up for London Evening Standard's Get Reading festival, which will take place in the capital's Trafalgar Square on 13 July (13). Homeland's David Harewood and actor Rupert Everett are also among the stars who will give readings during the literacy festival.
