She deals with political issues on her new album 'Walls'.
Barbra Streisand has just released a soaring new single paying tribute to President Donald Trump; it's called 'Don't Lie To Me' and it's a ruthless take down of his political regime. But that's only the tip of the iceberg with her newest album 'Walls', released this Fall.

The piano-led ballad is as unambiguous and unapologetic as Trump himself, but targets him for the blatant lies and deceit that have come from him since taking office with lines like 'Hard to believe the things you say' and 'You change the facts to justify'.

She has two clones from her 14-year-old Coton du Tulear Samantha.
It's not unusual for dog owners to stick with one breed of dog even after their pooch passes away, but Barbra Streisand wanted an exact copy when her Coton du Tulear Samantha died last year. Thus, she decided to have her cloned - twice! Although neither of them have the same personality.

Barbra Streisand has set a new world record with the release of her latest album.
It's not easy to be a pioneer in music nowadays, but Barbra Streisand seems to have managed it with the release of her thirty-sixth album 'Partners'. The record has debuted at the top spot on the US Billboard Chart, making Streisand the first singer to have a number one album in six consecutive decades.
Streisand (72) is continuing to break records in the music world
Her first album to reach the top spot was 'People' back in 1964, and she has gone on to have a further nine reach number one in the US, including her latest one. With her ten number one albums, she is now tied for fourth place with the most number one albums alongside Elvis Presley. Ahead of her are The Beatles (19), Michael Jackson (13) and Bruce Springsteen (11), but Streisand is still the most successful female artist. She has also scored six number ones in the UK album chart and thirteen in other countries. She has also achieved five number one singles, her last being 'Woman in Love' which was released in 1980.

Legendary entertainer Barbra Streisand is back on the music scene with a brand her album, her 34th to be exact, and only features duets with some of the most celebrated singers ever. 'Partners,' out on Wednesday (Sept 17th), is compiled of songs with the likes of Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Billy Joel, Andrea Bocelli, Lionel Richie, and a very intriguing 'virtual' duet with Elvis Presley.
Streisand's 34th studio album 'Partners' comes out on September 17th
Streisand recently sat down with Extra and recalled meeting the original king of rock 'n' roll for the very first time. "It was 1969 in Las Vegas. I think it was called the International Hotel, yep, and Elvis came. It was my opening night, but I was very nervous meeting him. I remember sitting there polishing my nails while he was talking to me. Can you imagine? When I think of it now, I think, 'How could you have been so stupid?'" she said.
She sang a number of songs from her new album with the help of the show's presenter Jimmy Fallon.
Ahead of the release of her 34th studio album Partners, singing legend Barbra Streisand was Jimmy Fallon’s guest on Monday evening’s ‘The Tonight Show’. The entire programme was given over to Streisand as Fallon got the opportunity to duet with her on a number of tracks that appear on the new record.
Barbra Streisand made an ultra-rare chat show appearance to promote Partners, a new album of duets, out Sept 16
Fallon quickly dispensed with his customary monologue at the start of the show, acknowledging that they were a “hot crowd” and finishing off by saying “I know you’re not here for me, you’re here for Barbra”. He then accompanied Streisand on a medley of three tracks from the new album, dressing up as Elvis for ‘Love Me Tender’, ‘The Voice’ judge Blake Shelton for ‘I’d Want It To Be You’ and Michael Bublé for ‘It Had To Be You’.
