Hollywood diva Barbra Streisand has made clear her views on ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER's campaign Governor of California - by handing cash to his arch rival CRUZ BUSTAMANTE.

The 61-year-old singer and actress has donated $1,000 (GBP625) to current election favourite Bustamante's campaign - even though she counts Schwarzenegger as a pal.

She says, "Arnold is a social friend whose company and whose wife's (MARIA SHRIVER) company I enjoy. I'm a Democrat and he's a Republican."

Meanwhile, other celebrities have been handing over cash to support the campaigns of the TERMINATOR star's political rivals. Independent candidate Arianna Huffington has received $21,000 (GBP13,125) from Seinfeld co-creator Larry David and $5,000 (GBP3,125) each from ER star Noah Wyle and The West Wing creator AARON SORKIN.

Elizabeth Hurley's millionaire ex-lover Steve Bing has given current governor Gray Davis $100,000 (GBP62,500).
